One of the larger liquor stores in the Netcong/Ledgewood area, right on the main drag and not too easy to miss. A large grey building with plate glass front windows and a big sign in front.
Walking in, it's your typical NJ liquor store. Set up in a kind of warehouse style, with stacks of cases on the floor, a few cooler doors in the back, and a small display rack with unrefrigerated micros and imports.
The selection is better than any other store I've found in the area, with Victory, Weyerbacher, Jersey Shore, Heavyweight, River Horse, Yards, etc. They don't have a full line of any brand, but there were a few goodies on my latest stop there, including Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot and Merry Monks. They also have a decent import selection, with a few good english and belgian beers. The beers are mostly fresh, but I still check expiration dates.
The staff is somewhat helpful, although none of them seem to know much about the beer. They're courteous and pleasant, and I'm sure they'd try to order something for you if you asked. The prices are pretty reasonable, as well.
It's a good stop if you're traveling in the area and want to bring home some local brews, but not the biggest selection ever.
