Single bottle bought in Germany. ABV stands at 4,8%. 500 ml.
Dark copper/light brown colour, with almost three fingers of slighty beige head, wih very good retention and no lacing left behind. Lively activity in the glass at first, stops after a few seconds.
Smells of roasted malts, caramel and wood. Nice aroma.
Taste is of roasted malts again, some toffee and dark bitter chocolate. Apple juice notes too. Only a bit bitter aftertaste, sort of metallic too.
Medium to thick body, average carbonation. Dry on the palate.
A good beer and the price of 0,45 cents per bottle makes it even more appealing.
