This beer reminds me of a late night dinner I had in Prague. I ordered their dark beer, specified on the menu only by gravity and wondered what I got myself into. Now that was the question, and this beer is the answer. It made so much more sense after I had this delicious wonder. Light in abv, full flavored and full bodied. Just an enjoyable beer all around. I will order this every time it’s available. Hopefully it isn’t retired, especially because I was told more was on the way the last time I asked.

Canned 26 July. Thanks, Chris!
A clear deep, ruddy brown with a dense, beige head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is excellent, with a delicate, bready, toasty, malt character, along with a touch of dark brown sugar. Delicate earthy, dusty hops. The palate is impossibly creamy and airy, with a delicate blend of toast, grain, earth, mint and a touch of lemon. Light like spun silk, this a joy on the palate. Drying, mildly bitter with a blend of grain and hop bitterness on the finish. Despite the low ABV, there's a mild heft to the mouthfeel, creamy and luxurious. Awesome.

Nice addition to their portfolio. Full flavored with a nice balance of malt and hops. Most reminiscent to me of a helles or perhaps a Vienna lager but with a little more hop bite. Nice change of pace lager for sure.
Copper/chestnut hur to the liquid with a lovely, sticky head of just amber foam
Nose is mild, like rustic bread dough. A sweet, uncooked bread aroma with a touch of rye like spiciness.
Taste carries that mild rustic bread flavor, but a little less sweet and complimented by nice herbal/floral hop bite. Reminds me of a heavily hopped helles or a pilsner with a touch of darker malt.
Crisp and clean body, fuller than a typical pilsner but not by much.

Reddish brown color. Aroma of dark bready malts, dark cherry, and nut. Taste is fantastic. Very balanced between herbal and noble hops and nice dark malts. Sort of a hybrid of a amber ale and a brown ale. Very tasty.
