This might be a new location based in previous reviews. Big tasting area upstairs overlooking brewing operation. Had a wide variety of beers to offer. I am not a fan of the flagship Toasted Lager but the offerings I had were very good. Service was excellent.

Well, there really is not much going on at this brewery except drinking. The fresh beer is always great but that lack of a restaurant makes the place not family friendly. They have events in the back parking lot and if you just want to drink great beer at a low price than it's something to check out. Growler refills are also really cheep too!

Went on a summer Saturday, tasting room was very crowded and disorganized. No place to sit inside. People were sitting outside to hear a band and had to come inside for beers. There were no lines for service just people lining up in front of bar. Barmaids did a great job trying to accommodate crowd. Great selection of beer. Tour was not worth it - not very informative.
They are relocating to another facility close by, so will need to see what changes in new location.

Great local brewery. Staff is awesome. beer selection is incredible 15-18 beers on tap always. Local music in the tasting room or outside when weather permits. Great place. great events - cask festival, lager logger - concerts.

I was in the area for a Saturday afternoon event and decided to drop in. The brewery features a small tasting area with about a dozen beers, largely on tap, although there is a cask and nitro offering. Guests can request three 4 oz tasters; tap pints are available only for consumption there. There was live entertainment the day I stopped by.
Because the tasting area can accommodate perhaps 2 dozen people (and then not comfortably), spill over moves into a macadam paved area out back which sports a party tent and limited, picnic-style seating. My guess is that this is only practical when the weather cooperates, as it did that day. There was also an outside vender nearby selling cheese steaks to anyone interested.
The whole scene created a party atmosphere and the patrons really seemed to be having a good time. I was actually struck by the large number of people who brought their children in strollers and/or their dogs, but all were well behaved and it only contributed positively to the atmosphere.
Blue Point makes several high quality beers that I have tried, among them the Toasted Lager and Hoptical Illusion IPA. Its serving room is also one of the few places in the area where a cask conditioned ale is available, but note it is important to ask the servers which one and not rely on the Website (which I found to my chagrine). Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area.

Review below is of the old brewery on River Avenue. ABInbev has moved to a bigger (but not necessarily better) location nearby.
Blue Point tasting room was a bare-bones place open limited hours. Parking was tight. Visitors were given 3 (4 oz) tasters. Keg pints were available for purchase to be consumed on the premises. This was one of the only outlets in suffolk county NY featuring cask ale regularly. They also had a nitro tap. Growlers for take-home were reasonably priced. Bottle beer is also sold.
The tasting room was dog-friendy (I don't know if AB Inbev has changed the policy). Some afternoons there was live music; sometimes a food truck was present. The room tended to get crowded Fri and Sat afternoons. Overflow went out onto the back parking lot under a party tent. A mixture of Patchogue locals and other random visitors kept this from becoming a beer boutique crowd. I stuck to the Pale Ale, after their ESB became rare or extinct.
Their cask beer festival was an annual cold weather event in a tent. I remember a special chilly night when Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials performed Chicago Blues in the brewhouse.
