Poured from a 473ml can.
Nice golden body, decent retention and not as fruit forward or hoppy as a hofpenweisse could be. Has a distinct mineral bitterness, not bad.

From Underdog’s Brewhouse in Oshawa Ontario, via the government beer monopoly, Bucky procured a 473 ml can of All or Nothing Hopfenweisse. To be perfectly honest, I’m not a fan of this particular style, but pickings at the LCBO were slim on this occasion. 5.1% alcohol by volume with a production date of 0915 printed on the can.
All or Nothing poured a hazy golden/amber colour with plenty of visible carbonation bubbles, topped by 1” of fluffy white head with some respectable staying power. The retreating head left a considerable amount of lacing down the glass…high marks for the visuals. Its aroma had a big clove element to it, together with notes of lemon citrus, yeast and sweet light fruits. The taste was sweet up front, followed by notes of yeast and lemon, with a mild bitterness to the finish. Unlike Bucky’s prior experiences with the hopfenweisse style, the bitterness did not overpower or mask those desirable wheat beer flavours, and no bitter aftertaste here. Light/medium bodied with a typical carbonation level and a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, a refreshing brew and a pleasant surprise.

The retail version of this beer comes in an attractive, yellow 500ml can that features an illustration of two shirtless, mustachioed dudes displaying questionable boxing technique. It also instructs the correct technique of turning the beer in-can and putting into a weisen glass, and I followed along.
The beer poured a hazy golden yellow, topped with a two-finger head that retained fairly well. On the sniff, I got a jab of fruity citrus and banana ester.
The taste was a left hook of banana, followed up by a hoppy right cross of grapefruit and lemon zest and an uppercut of bready malt and spice.
The finish was the best part. It was remarkably clean. A bit of banana remained, but all hop bitterness washed away.
The can advertises that it "drinks like an aromatic IPA mixed with a refreshing wheat beer." That's fair, but it probably undersells the beer's terrific balance.
I find that many session beers are undermalted versions of the brewery's IPA and are thus very bitter and hop-forward. At 5.1%, All or Nothing is mild enough to allow me to enjoy several, yet unique and complex enough to make me want to.
Underdog's, if this is your flagship, I'm coming aboard.
