building looks pretty cool from the outside - rectangular brick industrial style with a few strategically placed windows, huge Iron Hill mural, and a shadowy crane looming on the riverfront behind, brewing equipment visible at the entrance, through the front door and straight to the downstairs barroom - apparently I should've explored the upstairs but it didn't occur to me at the time, all wood and metal with big windows overlooking the river though it's hardly visible, pretty tame crowd on this Wednesday night

around ten house beers on tap, including one cask and a few seasonals, good range of styles but nothing really edgy or outside the ordinary save for the Hopkowski double red, leaving me to choose a cask pour of the Ironbound APA followed by a Hopkowski, both seemed fresh and tasted quality, standard glassware

for dinner I had the Brasserie burger that was pretty tasty - ordered medium and served medium-well with gruyere and a sour red onion "jam", the bun was crisp on the outside and warm, disappointingly the fries were limp and probably not very fresh

though my Victory visit the night before would be a tough act to follow, overall I had a nice experience and would certainly stop through again in hopes that there'd be some more interesting beers on tap

This has become my favorite Iron Hill, it has a great location right on the banks of the Christina River. The IPA's are really appealing and the food is always made better at this one. Just a step up compared to the others. Been here many times. The service is great, always addressing any problems right away. I like the vibe here, its laid back especially if sit outside. The bartender we had last somehow reminded me of Councilman Jamm from the show Parks and Recreation.

Iron Hill Wilmington is corporate but oh-so-nice. I really enjoy it there. The "riverfront" ain't much (small river, silly views) but the patio is beautiful in the summer.

The wife and I sat at the bar, which I recommend. The tables seem to be too busy on peak hours and weekends, and overrun with children. Prompt, nice service at the bar, she sure knew her beers and food menus.

Seven seasonal beers on tap, including a winter warmer and a German-style weiss, plus the usual Iron Hill lineup. We tried the Scrooge DIPA (weak) and the Big Red DIPA (fantastic). Too bad they didn't have the Imperial Stout...

The food menu is gigantic, like a diner's menu but better quality and more imaginative food. I loved their small plates: eared scallop with corn relish, fried goat cheese on arugula salad. Their pizza, made with malted-barley dough, is delicious as well.

There is a bottle menu, as in other Iron Hill locations, with cool vintage bottles, but way too pricey.

While far from outstanding, this place delivers. No complaints.
