Good solid Tex-Mex food. Beer selection id solid too. Magic Hat Seasonal, Long Trail, Switchback, Rock Art, Sierra Nevada, Dos Equis, and Labatt round out the tap choices. Service is usually on and the chips just keep coming. If you're down with the Mexican flavor this is a great place to stop in Burlington.

The atmosphere in here was average. Nothing special. Some Pancho Villa pictures hanging on the wall, with some Mexican decorations.
Quality wasn't that great. Table we were sat at had different sized chairs around the table and the two tables that were placed together were slightly different heights. Hanging over the edge of our table was the bus pan, a few wash rags thrown about and hanging over the edge of the counter, ready to fall onto our table. Next to the rags was a white spray bottle marked "bleach". Just stupid if you ask me.
The service was less than average. We started off with the bitchy hostess who rolled her eyes and made a fuss about seating our party of seven in the half empty restaurant. After making some impromptu seating arrangements, we placed our drink order with the shaky waiter. He seemed like he cared but he didn't seem very intent on keeping us content. We placed our drink orders and waited about 15 minutes for them. He did bring us water in the meantime though. He also brought us chips when our dinner was taking forever. The queen bitch happened to come over and throw a dirty rag on top of the counter, when someone at our table asked her to please take the bleach away. Giving a half smirk, she grabbed it and walked away. The waiter came back out, only to forget who got what. I don't put too much of the blame on him. Maybe if they had some organization in this place, it wouldn't be too bad.
The selection of food wasn't that bad but the beer selection kind of sucked. On the menu, it just said who the maker of the beer was. For example; our menu said, Trout River, Shed, Long Trail, Magic is that?
The food was less than impressive. I don't think any of us would have stayed, if we hadn't been so ravenous. Very bland tasting and simple. A few people at the table ordered margheritas, to which they asked if there was any alcohol in. The waiter said, "well, those ones aren't the good ones, they're made with Tripel Sec." WTF????

A nice mexican/beer place in Burlington. Atmosphere is OK, but kind of cookie cutter mexican, I expected more in this town I guess. Quality of the food and beer was great, and the service was fast and very pleasant as well! Tap selection was nice, but not killer, and certainly not the best in town. Still some nice ridge runner helped the heat thrown off by my excellent chicken chimichanga. The food here was very good, and the hellfire sauce you can get with it is super super hot and a real creeper! Entrees were mid-range mexican place priced, and the beers werent too pricey either. A nice place to get some good Mexican within the city limits (I hear there are two better places in the south burlington/winooski area though...)
