Oranje Weisse
Amsterdam Brewing Company
An ode to our Dutch heritage, Oranje Weisse is a premium, unfiltered white beer. Predominantly brewed with un-malted wheat which gives it a hazy appearance we've also added two types of orange peel, some coriander, and a touch of anise. The result is a unique flavour combination of citrus and light spice. Our signature yeast reveals a complex aroma and slight tartness on the palate. We recommend serving with a slice of orange on the side of the glass to enhance this refreshing seasonal brew.

A - Pours a good cloudy straw colour with a two finger white head gone to a thick film pretty quick. Strong carbonation. Good filmy retention and some OK rings of lacing.
S - Banana is obvious, light sweet spice, and lemon. Standard.
T - Wheaty and yeasty. The wheat really smooths and lightens out the body. Banana, sweet spice is tame, and lemon comes through strong. More citrusy than the aroma.
M - Heavy carbonation and a light body with a slightly sweet finish. Carbonation might be a tad too strong.
O/D - Fairly standard for a wit I guess. Nothing really stands out. It's to style but not overly impressive. Refreshing and drinkable.

Purchased at the LCBO for around the $3.00 mark or so for a 473ml can. Served at 4deg C in a draught glass.
A- Opens well and pours a 1" high white head the films out quick though. Nice light Hoegaarden color to it. Almost translucent. Light gold color and unfiltered to a degree.
S- Coriander, Light malt undertones.
T- Very similar to a Hoegaarden and great try guys!!
M- Good and dry.
O- I like this one. It's a local home brew good well. Suggest you buy up!
Food Pairing
This wonderful brew goes well with...... The beach, a pile of these, some hot dogs, hamburgers, salads galore and DDs.
Enjoy

Look: I poured a can of this beer into a 16-ounces Cervoise glass. Expect a full-bodied straw-coloured beer. It is not transparent. Unfortunately, the two-finger head had quite a lot of bubbles and receded into a small coat somewhere between the third and fifth minute of my tasting. Other than that, the body is nice.
Smell: Nice nose of orange combined with a little bit of citrus.
Taste: The front end closely matches the taste of orange zests, which doesn't take a back seat to the notes of citrus. As the beer moves to the end, it shifts from slight hints of banana to those of both coriander and anise. The latter adds a subtle, but not harrassing, sweetness to the hops.
Feel: It has the slight acidity of a citrus. Moreover, because of its low ABV, it was breweed to feel like a refreshing beer for summer.
Overall: Amsterdam Brewery's Oranje Weiss is a great rendition of a Belgian-style wheat beer. It strikes the right balance between fruitiness and spiciness. I would gladly recommend this seasonal beer.

A- Pours a hazy light straw colour with a 1 1/2 finger white head. Fairly lackluster when compared to other witbiers.
S- Obviously lots of orange in the nose (hence the name) but it's more of a lingering background note. Nice spiciness as well as some Belgian yeast action.
T- Follows the nose well with the exception of a bubblegum note on the finish. Nice.
M- Light body with a lively medium carbonation. Refreshing brew.
O- Not a top notch Witbier but a pretty good one at that. Light and refreshing.
