A delightful IPA. Part of the allure is to try a Norwegian beer...
It pours a dark hazy orange/amber. Nice foamy head, Taste is quite strong on the pallette. Has an initial spicy kick followed by a brief citrus/grapefruit blast and then a hoppy finish.
It leaves a fairly strong aftertaste. Tart and hoppy. These guys take a bold stance on an American style beer.
As far as IPAs go, this is worth a shot, actually, this one is worth a case. Cool to have a beer from Norway.

Pours a murky orange with plenty of floaties and a thick head.
The smell is bitter and resiny, with a bit of pine and citrus.
Quite resiny on the tongue as well, but balanced by a nice breadiness. Nice bitterness, and a slightly soapy aftertaste.
Nice and soft, medium bodied. Just the right level of carbonation.
Overall, a good, solid west Coast IPA, that is drawn down a little because of it's look.

Nice complex IPA. Great cloudy color, smooth easy to drink flavor. Couldn't find a "brewed on" date on the bomber, but mine was a bit chunky with yeast/hops floating and settling within. I liked it.
