Pours hazy shiny golden, one finger fluffy white head with great retention, leaving some small traces.
Smell of oatmeal, barnyard (a bit different than the usual saison; manure?), spices (pepper), banana, apple, some cooked corn, low citrus.
Taste starts with a nice cooked grainy feel, a very strong cereal feel, trampled on afterwards by green hay, Brett funkiness, spicy grass, pinch of dry petals, floorboard, a faint lactic bacteria sourness also. There are some nice fruity esters too, with acidic apple, banana and some apricot, but hidden a bit, along with some faint caramel. Finish is rather dry and bitter, leaving grass, hay, funky grains in the aftertaste.
Quite fizzy, a bit heavy also.
The funk in this one was a bit too aggressive, tho it created a very nice "rural" taste. It depends on how much authenticity one expects in his saison. I liked it, but i'm not sure i'd look for it again.

Cloudy, no head, relatively few bubbles. Buttery, biscuity aroma with some earthiness and farmyard notes. Grain flavours with some yeastiness. Low to medium carbonation, with fine bubbles and very slight fizz on the tongue. Not much bitterness at first, more later. A few fruity notes comes through with further sips. A flavour reminiscent of pate coming through with later bitterness. Fairly smooth to drink. Tastes less than its percentage. An enjoyable, somewhat rustic ale but relatively light in terms of flavour.

Bottle. Cloudy light marmalade colour. Thin wispy head.
Over ripe fruit aroma. Yeasty.
Sweet. Very light bitter. Fruit and yeast again. Some grain.
Light feel. Decent carbonation. Balanced but unassuming.
