A- A nice golden colour. Looses some points because the head falls down quick.
S- Grainy. Slightly sweet. Zingy and herbal/grassy hops. Nicely balanced.
T- Mostly follows the nose, with a touch of bright citrus. Only downside is something mildly "sudsy" in the aftertaste which could be coming from the hops.
M- Light and refreshing with good carbonation. Just the right amount of body.
O- Had it on tap at the brewtique and loved it. Took home a six pack and didn't like the first one so much, but today...it's one of those beers you have after work that restores you to life. If you're looking for something to drink really cold and beat the heat, give this a try. It won't blow your mind, but its a solid offering from a brewery thats trying something different.

First time to taste this style.
It is like a lager but more malt flavor. Nice feel, not heavy. Very refreshing. Great summer beer.
Got a Growler at our local Liquor store.
Overall I would recommend at a summer addition.
Great effort from Picaroons. Its doesnt taste a lot like their other beers.

Serving Type: 341 mL Bottle
A- Pours a Pale Golden topped by a 1 1/2 finger creamy white head. Half decent retention and lots of patchy lacing.
S- Bready, Lemon, and a hint of grassy hops.
T- Good hit of lemon right of the bat followed by bready malt. Finishing off with some grassy hops. Slight mineral water taste. Very good stuff.
M- Medium body and Moderate-High Carbonation. Lots of life in the beer without being "prickly". The carbonation makes the body much more refreshing.
O- For Picaroons, this is a landmark beer. Not only is it their first German Style brew (to my knowledge) but it's also their first beer being sold in 341 mL bottle six-packs (It also pays homage to the provinces Logging Industry)! 506 Logger is a light (although not watery) flavourful brew perfect for the summer in the 506 (thats the area code for New Brunswick for those who don't know)!
