Lumpy, off-white head that leaves chunky lace on the side. The liquid is golden with a mild chill haze.

Notable sweet caramel aroma. There's some raw grain as well. What's missing, though, is any hop or alcohol to the nose.

Starts with a smooth, "round" malt flavor. The bittering hop takes over quickly. This is a very rich pilsner. The carbonation is low, making this an overly robust beer that comes close to having the consistency of milk. The aftertaste is of white pepper and lingers a long time.

500ml Bottle - thanks to frenchy for this one

Appearance - Clear yellow colour with an average size fizzy white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some good lacing. The head lasted for 3 or 4 minutes.

Smell - Bread, grains, corn, malts, caramel

Taste & Mouth - The beer has an average amount of carbonation an I can taste corn and malts mixed with hops and a fair amount of caramel. There is also a grassiness and some citrus zest. It ends with a slightly bitter and zest hop aftertaste.

Overall - A very tasty beer that has a nice hop profile. It seems well crafted and I'd drink it again. One of the better beers I've had from this brewer.

Slightly hazy golden color with a good amount of activity. Almost creamy white 1 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with some strong legs.

Pleasant floral aroma with biscuity caramel. Flavors of caramel, sweet grains, a little corn, lemon, floral and herbal spices. Bready and slightly grassy. More sweet than sour but still with a nice sharpness creating a good balance.

Smooth almost creamy heavy body with moderate carbonation. Light finish of medium length, ending with crispy grassy noble spices and some sugary citrus/caramel feel.

Overall a good craft offering nice flavors and a great thick body. Passable freshness being a little flat. Accessible being not overly boozy and well spiced. +1 for the pug ;)

This beer looks good. Nice big white head on a clear, bubbly blonde beer.

The smell is pretty weak. There is some caramel, some corn, some bready malt.

The taste is not good. There is some of what's in the aroma but there is also a buttery diacetyl taste that dominates after it warms up a little bit.

The feel is alright, I didn't get too much of the fatty feel that I know is associated with diacetyl, but certainly a little bit.

Overall, this beer was not good. I considered pouring half of it down the drain, but I didn't actually do it.

A: Poured with a large, white, frothy head that had fairly good lasting power until it finally diminished to 1/2-finger. No real lacing to speak of. Body is dark gold and extremely clear.

S: I'm not getting much from the aroma... DMS is definitely present, as is a slight twinge from the hops.

T: The DMS is present in the flavor, as well, but not too overbearing. Finishes with a sharp bitterness that lends to the fairly long-lasting duration. The alcohol is not present, even at 7% ABV.

M: Light-bodied, fairly creamy, with average-to-fizzy carbonation.

D: Not a bad beer, but not really a great example of a Pilsner, Imperial or not.

clear light golden yellow colour. inch and a half of foamy white head - decent retention.

smell was sweet, wheat, hops and malt, maybe a bit of fruit - quite nice.

taste also had a sweetness to it, little grainy, and bit of hops - alcohol is hidden well.

overall a good, very drinkable pilsner and probably the brewery's only above-average beer.

Serving Type: 500 mL

Taken from my notes. Reviewed February 7th, 2015
According to the label, this version of Feels Good contains Fuggles hops.

A- Pours a golden straw colour topped with a 2 1/2 finger white head. Little bit of lacing on the glass.

S- Sweet caramel and sweet malt notes. Light hoppiness. No alcohol on the nose despite a relatively high ABV. Not as much hop presence as I was expecting.

T- Sweet maltiness that moves to a slight hop bitterness fairly quickly. Nice and balanced flavour.

M- Low-Medium Carbonation and a fairly heavy mouthfeel. Oddly robust for a Pilsner and not refreshing by any means.

O - Another great beer from Picaroons. Pleasant aroma and flavour but an oddly heavy mouthfeel for a Pilsner. I suppose it has something to do with the high gravity but the heavy mouthfeel takes it from being an excellent beer to an okay one. Not the kind of Pils I would want on a hot summer day, rather an autumn/winter sipper.

Bottle from my Awesome girlfriend... this bottle of beer is 3 days old, lol. Awesome. bottle date 7-25-11.
Review by style...
Pours a light golden color with rather large bubble carbonation, and needless to say, fades fast!
Nose is a strong hay and apple with what seems to be a hint of raspberry and alcohol... but mostly hay.
taste is also a very strong apple flavor, a nice citrus bitterness on the front and middle of the palate and a light traditional bitter on the finish. This is quite good! Cant say i have gone out of my way to find imperial pilsners, but the last one I had was Pecker Wrecker, and this one is significantly better than that one. This one is very nice and light, lightly carbed, perfect for a hot day, while the pecker wrecker was thick and syrupy. The abv is hidden well, as this is easily chuggable! But dont let it get too warm, it goes downhill quickly as it warms.
Great Imperial Pilsner, for sure! If i was rating by taste alone and not to style i would put this around a B-. As it is a pilsner...

A bit of foamy white head (less than / about a finger) that doesn't stick around terribly long. Leaves rings of lace, though, as it goes. It basically looks like a glass of honey. A little cloudy.

Not much a of a smell... a little sweet, like a wheat ale. A bit doughy.

The taste isn't too bad. A little more bitter than I like, though. A bit of creaminess in the smell / taste. Maybe a hint of banana, even, which isn't odd, in my experience, for the things that smell like a wheat ale.

Pretty good in the mouth... not too fizzy. A bit creamy. Just a bit too bitter on the tongue for my liking. Lasts too long on the tongue.

Overall, pretty drinkable, but there are many other beers I'd go to first.

A clear, crisp golden beer with an orange tinge. Big bubbly head had alright retention. Hard to battle through the head, but when I did, a little nutty and some spice, maybe clove. The taste was first Apple, really acidic. Hints of honey and slightly earthy. This is brewed at 7.5% abv but is smother than that. Easy drinking and smooth. Now that the weather is getting nicer, a great time to break these out.
