Drank from bottle at summer party in Latvia so can't comment on looks.

Aroma from bottle was spicy, fruity, hoppy.

Taste was spicy, slightly hoppy, tropical fruits, refreshing.

Enjoyed this beer, would gladly have it again.

Deep golden colour, almost non existatn head that does not hold, not lace.
Smell of tropical fruits, with some caramel notes. Medium body, soft carbonation. Taste of tropical fruits, some caramel and spices, bitter finish. I'm not sure if conservation failed, but it's too flat and simple.

Clear gold. Ivory head.

Strong lychee, mango, sorrel, and strawberries-and-cream aroma. Slight honey sweetness, faintly reminiscent of cream soda. Taste is sweet and fruit punch-y, with canned pineapple juice as the overriding flavor and hints of saltydog in the background. Not bad but it needs a touch more bitterness for balance. As is, I can see it working very well with roast pork belly, curry goat, dense cheeses, som tam, or spicy crab dishes.

Smells of It's good but not great, big hops not huge, no solid malty backbone

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Sept 2015. Picked up recently from a supermarket. The label mentions that this is part of Adnams' 'craft range', presumably to differentiate them from their more traditional line-up.

A: Poured into a tulip pint glass. A clear golden-amber hue with medium carbonation. Forms a small head of white foam that disappears after a minute or two.

S: Aroma of fruity hops with hints of melon, white grape, citrus, grass/hay, fruity ale yeast, mild caramel malt and faint stewed hops. A twinge of booze in the background.

T: Tastes of fruity, spicy hops with a lingering bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, peel, citrus, mild melon, subtle white grape, grass/hay, a touch of pepper, ale yeast, delicate caramel and stewed hops. Well-attenuated, with a hint of alcohol in the background. A spicy hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with soft carbonation and decent body. Could be a bit more lively. Slightly astringent, followed by an aftertaste of fruity hops, subtle leafy bitterness and vague yeast.

O: A rather nice little IPA - it hovers somewhere between English and American in character. Looks OKish, but the aroma and flavour are lovely with plenty of hop notes in evidence. Body is alright. Shame it isn't bottle conditioned, but goes down a treat all the same. A solid effort from Adnams and well worth sampling if you come across it.
