I bought this from Tavour, shared with my brother poured chilled in a goblet.
The color and clarity both fit -black with thin tan head after settling.
The smell is very nice with prominent coffee scent and slight vanilla and cocoa accents.
The feel is very good with a mild bitterness and sweetness with roast and dry finish moderately carbonated with light alcohol in the back.
The taste is great, smooth and silky with nice coffee complimentary flavor and the cocoa adds a nutty and dry element with woody and slight creamy vanilla quality.
Overall a very good adjunct stout was glad I got to try this since it is not distributed to my area.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a thin brown head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, molasses, coffee, cocoa and vanilla. Flavor is dark toasted malt, cocoa, bourbon, oaky vanilla, quality coffee. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A fine, full flavored coffee stout with clear notes of the coffee, cocoa nibs and vanilla beans used in the barreling. The bourbon was faint in the aroma, but well represented and balanced in the flavor. This one hits all the notes I want in this style and is quite flavorful for a under 9% stout. Well done.

Black pour with rich brown around the edges when held to light. One finger of medium mocha foam with good retention and light lacing. The aroma is spectacular. The coffee and bourbon are the most prominent, both hitting your nose immediately. Complex waves follow. Chocolate, oak, spice, maple. The taste follows, again, coffee and bourbon are the first and most powerful. Again, milder notes of chocolate, barrel, and spice come through. Medium full body, upper end of low-moderate carbonation, and a dry finish. Really excellent effort from Tyranena.

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter. Very Dark, almost black with two finger beige head. Fades slowly and leaves abundant lacing that coats the glass. Nice bitter chocolate with roasted malt, coffee beans, and a nice vanilla scent. I notice some of the bourbon barrels. The taste is sublime with delicious vanilla and chocolate notes. The coffee and bourbon finish it off with more bittersweet chocolate. Smooth and creamy with a medium body that sticks to your tongue. So silky and decadent. Just another outstanding barrel aged stout from Tyranena.
