Picked up a single 11.2oz from Famous Wines in Lombard, IL.

A: Pours a slightly reddish/orange golden color with a finger of white head that reduces down to just a film of a few bubbles and leaves lacing on the glass.

S: Smells of light citrus, hops, some orange peel (i guess you'd call it peel, but not the orange colored part of the peel for me, this is more the white tough parts when you peel an orange)

T: Wow, two beers in a row tonight that weren't what I expected. This is actually a really mellow, mild IPA. The hops and citrus flavors are very muted and the orange peel slight fruitiness comes out more in the flavor. Just a small amount of hop bitterness finish. If I took a blind taste test, I probably wouldn't call this an IPA. It's almost kind of a red ale for me in the flavor.

M: Full bodied, crisp, but smooth and mellow.

S: Great flavor, little to no alcohol picked up, very mellow/smooth and easy to drink. This really just might have taken over as my most recent favorite session beer. I have trouble putting my glass down and leaving it there for very long. I'm going to have to pick more of this up.

So rare and so wonderful. Bitter Woman made PERFECT.
But I can't find it anywhere, any time.
''Availability in Spring'', officially -- so it says.
Tyrenena is from Lake Mills near Madison, WI. and it's always a pb. finding their exceptional beers. So what's the pb.?
I live in Milwaukee county and I can't find any more Scurvy in the second week of June. What about distribution?
Update: Scurvy reappears on the shelves mid July 2018.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate burnt orange + faint golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a couple of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith, citrus/orange zest, citrus/orange peel, and pine/resin hops over the light to moderate aromas of caramel + toasted + biscuit malts.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit, toasted, and caramel malts with light to moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith, citrus/orange zest, citrus/orange peel, and pine/resin hops which contribute a just shy of moderate amount of bitterness which fades away slowly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Hints of dryness in the finish.

O: Enjoyable old school East Coast style IPA - kind of a throwback but definitely a beer that I could have again. Drinks pretty easily and hides the alcohol well.

Cool orange pour, lots of citrus pulp I think floating around? Is that what I see? Aroma didn't pop hops or citrus. Bummer man.

Taste did impart some citrus. Had plenty of hopping. Caramel malt notes in a large way. Thankfully not balanced, but minorly disappointing given that I'm usually impressed with this brewery.
