Pours a clear, copper/gold color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, pale malt, slight hops, hint of yeast, and a hint of caramel malt. Fits the style of a Marzen / Oktoberfest. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is a nice dryness as well. Tastes of European yeast, pale malt, slight sweet malt, hint of hop, and a hint of caramel malt. Overall, decent appearance, decent body, aroma, and blend.

Point Oktoberfest brewed by Stevens Point Brewery, with an ABV of 5.15% This brew pours out a nice light brown color with a nice white head. The smell is rich with sweetness and grains. This brew has the smell is like maple syrup. Now for the taste,it is bold at first with a smooth finish. You pick up on some malts and grains in the taste. The mouthfeel is nice and smooth, there is nothing overpowering in this brew. Overall I'm giving this brew a 4.5 out 5. I would buy this brew again.

Point Oktoberfest - Stevens Point Brewery. Poured from the bottle into a glass, this beer's head is one and a half fingers thick, lacing is very thin, and its got a clear medium-dark amber brown body.

Smells like earthy malts, not roasted or caramelized. Well, this oughta be...different.

I taste, yes, earthy malts with no roasted or caramelized notes. Its not offensive, but I dunno...I'm just not feeling it as a top rater for my previous Oktoberfest brew experiences. Its a very decent taste, I just wish I could appreciate it more.

The mouthfeel of Point Oktoberfest is clean and crisp. This has no lingering notes.

Overall, I'll rate Point Oktoberfest - Stevens Point Brewery with a 3.25. This brew is certainly not bad, but its probably the least great Märzen / Oktoberfest I've had thus far. I probably won't pick this brew up again.

Bottle, poured into a pint glass at about 40 degrees F.

A: Pours a deep amber, like the color of clover honey. Formed a decent white head, and left little lacing on the glass.

S: The aroma was mostly toast, with hints of caramel. It smelled warm.

T: As promised by the nose, toast and a little biscuit, with some slight caramel and nut flavors at the finish.

M: Overall mouthfeel was smooth if a bit fizzy, until the watery finish.

O: A standard marzen. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either. I won't go out of my way to find more, but if a six pack happens to be on sale for $2.99 again at a local store like this one was, it's worth the price.

Oktoberfest pours an amber color with a nice lacing head. There is a caramel aroma, with hints of a nice crisp malt notes. The taste is the same, crisp malt backbone, with some nice caramel notes. Pretty watery, nice carbonation. Overall it has some nice flavors, good caramel notes; like a watery Sam Adams Oktoberfest.

Have to agree with most of the reviews. It's okay. Not the worst but not the best either.
