Point Classic Amber is a multi-award winning amber-style lager. It boasts a recipe of the highest quality natural ingredients. Roasted caramel malts gives the beer its subtle caramel character and reddish-amber hue. American Tettnanger hops provide a soft sweetness and gentle hop aroma. The result is a distinctive flavorful beer that is remarkably smooth and clean.

Point Amber pours a surprisingly dark copper body with almost a crimson tint to it. It's clear, and glows with amber and orange highlights beneath a creamy head of off-white that holds fairly well and leaves walls of spotty lace behind.
Some spicy and floral hops liven the nose atop its gently sweet and lightly caramel-accented maltiness.
The flavor follows the lead that the nose gives, and is de rigueur for the style with a welcome dose of medium-dark crystal malts that gives it some lightly sweet darkened-sugar flavor. The bitterness is present, but limited, falling somewhere around 18 IBU's. The spicy, floral and grassy hops, however, give it just a little edge that places it above and beyond some of the more basic examples.
A pretty nice, all-around amber lager. I could easily see enjoying a few of these at a ball game, wedding reception, or fall festival. Nicely done. Well-brewed and well-balanced.

A pleasant dark brown. The head dissipated rapidly. Smells a bit of bubble gum. Balanced, refreshing taste, a bit sweet, then a bit sour in the aftertaste. Well carbonated (I prefer flatter).

On tap at Goosetown. Didn’t realize it was an amber. Decent head, decent flavor, but typically I’d prefer golden for this strength.

Deep honey-colored, translucent, and very effervescent, the lager in the glass produced a modest head that dissipated before I could even describe it. A certain hopped honey-ness was detected on popping the top (which I see was actually a twist-off... oh, well). Not a lot going on for flavor... a little metal (when drinking directly from the bottle) but otherwise sort of a watered-down almost bitter cider note. Not offensive, but not all that attractive either. It'll do with my pizza, but overall kind of meh.

Very smooth, wonderful color, much better head retention than many competitors in this class.

12oz can into a pint glass. Appears to have been canned in May of this year.
Looks good in the glass. Mostly clear reddish body. Small white head shrinks to a partial ring and faint covering. No lacing.
Malty aroma.
On tasting, it's light, clean, easy drinking. Quite smooth, a little sweet, no aftertaste.
Mouth above medium. Finish slightly off, but not unpleasant.
Overall, simple clean red lager. There are both better and worse options out there here for the style.

Nothing special about this Lager. The taste is just kinda flat....I don't mean the beer has gone bad but there is just nothing distinctive about it. The look is nice, but the mouth feel is just meh, IMO. It tastes okay, I would not reject one at a party but I would not make a special trip to buy it.

pours an amber brownish with white foam that completely disappeared within seconds. Plenty of carbonation, no lacing
The smell is nice, caramel and the malt
Tastes fine, caramel sweetness, a little malty, semi dry, not overly bitter
I can feel the carbonation but it has a light creamy feel
This is a good beer, very drinkable, I like it.

Pours a clear amber reddish brown with a small tan head that dissipates immediately leaving no lacing. Aroma is faint, almost non existent. Flavor is caramel and lightly roasted malt. Feel is light and crisp. Overall only okay.
