Dunk the little cookies and watch bubbles come up! This sessionable dessert stout recalls everyone's favorite sandwich cookie with a smooth, biscuity base of dark chocolate malt, softened with flavors of cream filling, speckled ice cream, and white chocolate.

12 oz. bottle, no date present, but it's dark as fuck in here so I could be wrong. My second beer from Stevens Point Brewery. "Stout beer with natural flavors added".

Poured to clear stemless wine snifter.
Fairly aggressive pour down the center yields a dark brown-black body with only slight hues of mahogany ruby showing through. Barely a half finger of khaki head that falls quickly to a ring. Appears sticky with lowly carb. Second pour yields a full finger of head with some ok spotty lacing.
Powdery cocoa in the aroma, I do detect faint notes of actual Oreo cookie which is kind of pleasant. Powdered chocolate, vanilla extract, slight notes of must & yeast?
Taste follows: notes of powdered cacao, vanilla, cream, perhaps a slight bite of hops toward the finish. Not really "Oreo" cookie tasting, but I can see it.
Body is kind of thin & light, but is to be expected for a 5.50% abv stout. Carbonation is kind of lowly, could stand to be amped up just a touch. Overall, this was a fairly average offering that grew on me the more I drank it.

Well it's a good milk stout nice chocolate and roast with some vanilla sweetness but I don't think its worthy of a gimmicky name cookies and cream. Not bad though nothing offenesive sweet and no cloying hops. For a couple bucks I enjoyed it somewhat.

12 oz longneck poured into a Bass Imperial Pint Glass, the beer is dark brown with mahogany highlights. Not a ton of head.

The nose is of dark fruit, roasted malt and something sweet (like cookies...)

The taste tracks the smell. It is sweet (but not cloying) with coco, lightly roasted malts, a bit of vanilla and some Oreo notes. The lactose is well integrated into the beer.

I would like to see a thicker mouthfeel but the beer clocks in at 5.5%, so not shocked by it. The beer has low levels of carbonation which actually work well with this beer.

Good dessert type of beer. Would be a good one to share with friends who may like this an introduction to this type of beer as it is super approachable.

Very little foam or lacing. Very sweet. More like a cotton candy taste. No real chocolate taste in there. They picked a bad name for this beer. Much better stouts out there.
