Pours a clear ruby brown with no head. No bubbles are visible. Smells of rich malt and nuttiness, with caramel notes as well. Taste is pretty much the same, malty and nutty with some caramel sweetness. There's an earthy undertone to the whole thing that's very nice. Medium mouth feel, very smooth and a bit of carbonation. Overall, a damn fine brown ale.

This beer is really an English dark mild (and a damn fine one at that). Transparent brown, with quickly dissipating head. Smells of caramel, toffee, and is a bit fruity. The taste is a complex dose of all of the above with some earthiness added to it. I would love to try this on cask and it has become a local go-to for one of my favorite styles.

Clear, reddish brown pour, little head. Malty, nutty, and brown sugar sweetness. A little simple, but not bad.
