Pours a hazy nectar color, with a yeasty one finger head of foam. Aroma is bread and grass. Bitterness is quite noticeable in the taste profile, with strong bread flavors present. Of all the IPAs, this has a quite noticeable bite and might be rather called an imperial hazy IPA, if I were to guess blind. It is middle of the road; nothing bad, yet nothing too outstanding. Drinkable and this in itself makes it a good beer.

A darker shade of yellow. Lacking hop aroma.
Taste kicks you some bitterness and not a whole lot more. Long boil hops. Really all around average stuff, doesn't do anything bad or good, its just there. It'll do in a pinch, but I can't imagine this being the best stuff on a shelf anywhere in the country.

L: Pours brilliant copper amber into a 19 oz. Spiegelau glass producing a dense, persistent 3” cream colored foam collar that grips the side of the glass.
S: Big grassy hop nose with light biscuit.
T: Biscuity malt provides the backbons for spicy, fruity hops that hint at rootbeer to anise and culminate in a bitter, citrus rind finish with a hint of pepper.
F: Creamy, medium to medium light body, medium to medium high carbonation.
O: A very good big flavored IPA

The hops are distinct, but not overbearing. The bitterness and lingering fruit on the finish is well-balanced. Wild Ride is a solid Wisconsin IPA
