Poured a hazy golden color with minute white head. No retention, no lacing.
Smell is insignificant, with a light maltiness present.
Taste also presents with a light maltiness, but not much else.
A touch of dryness emerges at the finish, which is an improvement on the taste.
Very easy to drink, because there is not much there. I could see this beer as a hot afternoon thirst quencher, or with a bushel of steamed clams.

[Best served in a Kölsch glass]
The pour was a light clear yellow with a huge (3-4 finger) white frothy head that was mostly lasting with a little fair spotty lacing.
The aroma was a tad funky with a straw like malt, a grassy hop and a soapy yeast and had a mild note of citrus (lemon).
The taste was a lot like the aroma with a grainy feel and a bit acidic at first and finished lightly bitter with just a mild hint of citrus at the end. The flavor was short lived, very mild and faded fast.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a decent carbonation.
Overall a light funky tasting brew that would fit it rather nicely on a hot summer’s day...

Served in a Chicago Bears shaker pint glass.
Groovy, man! (Dammit, I'm angry at myself for that one...) This stuff pours a clear pale straw topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises grass, wheat, very light caramel, and a touch of flower petals. The taste favors the wheat and grass in heavy amounts, leaving little room for much else. The body straddles the border between hefty light and light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly grainy feel. Overall, a pretty sad kolsch, one I don't find too "groovy" at all.

I had this one at my wife's aunt & uncle's house. I had never heard of this beer and was surprised to see it was from Wisconsin.
I drank it straight from the bottle. I really enjoyed this beer. It had a great medium body and good flavor. Bit of a citrus taste. Very refreshing - I could drink a few more of these. I'll definitely try it again if I see it around.

Poured the beer into a pint glass. Very light yellow with a bit of fizz and short lived lacing. While others were getting sweetness on taste, I was getting sweetness coming from the smell than from my tongue as I sipped the beer. I found the taste more straw-like than I expected, but pleasant.
The biggest downfall of this beer was the weak body and mouthfeel. To me, it seemed closer to beer-tasting water than having any sort of beer body. I understand the style is suppose to be light, but come on.
On the upside, I really do like the flavor. The drinkability is up there since they are refreshing and I can have a few without feeling bloated.

A - Gold and clear with no real head to speak of. Only a collar rings the edge of the glass.
S - Cornmeal, wheat crackers (Wheat Thins), and strangely ... biscuits and gravy.
T - Surprisingly fruity and fresh. This doesn't really strike me as a Kolsch so much as a fruit oriented Euro Lager. Whatever it is, it ain't bad. Green apple skin and green grapes. Champagne like. This is really complex for what I usually think of as a basic, but solid style.
M - Light bodied, effervescent, and lively. This is an easy going brew that goes down easy without mental interference. Now, that isn't always a good thing in craft brewing, but in this case there is enough substance to keep my mouth happy.
D - This is one of those "inbetweeners" that isn't a massively interesting complex creation, but neither is it some simple chig-lager. This is one of those brews that you pick up for a nice cookout evening at a buddy's house. You dig it, but don't feel like you have to savor every sip. Is it a great beer... no. But would I buy a sixer to bring to a party... hell yes.

Appearance - pours a muted golden color. Displays a thin cover of white that doesn't look long for this world but holds quite well.
Aroma - a clean, bright grainy sniff, fairly sweet.
Taste - pleasant soft graininess. An easy-going sweetness defines it. A bit of husk character, clean and fresh. Not much hop snap on the swallow, kind of lets down at this point. It doesn't have to grab like a pils but there should be something. A wet, unbalanced finish. That's about it, although it does show a little more depth of grain with some warming.
Mouthfeel - crisp lager feel, which I think is good.
Drinkability - okay. Needs a little work to hit the style better, but it's easy enough to drink as is. Thanks to the missus for bring a sixer back from Chi-Town.

Guess it's ok. Can tell what they're trying to do - it's a bit like the Kolsch I recently had in Cologne, Germany. This one's a little heavier and not as fresh seeming. Anyway, served with a small to medium white head and a bit of lace. Color is a very clear light gold. Aroma is light grain, a hint of lemon, and soft. Flavor's the same. Body is soft and forgettable. Not one of their better beers. And the name- gimme a break
