Appearance: Clear medium golden color, with a very small white head, which collapses rather quickly, slight carbonation, and fair lacing.

Aroma: Very sweet, with light honey, tropical fruit notes, and a mild skunk aroma.

Taste: Slight tart malt notes throughout the taste, finishes quite dry with mild hop bitterness.

Mouth feel: Very thin, with zesty carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: Quite drinkable, somewhat nondescript.

Thanks to Stephen for finding this uncommon beer.

Scorpion Lager, contract brewed by Cameron's. Poured from a bottle. Not much head, pure white as one would expect, leaves a thin skim on top. The beer is a ver dark yellow. The aroma is mild, with hints of grainy adjuncts. Taste is not unpleasant, some adjuncty grain tastes with a bare hint of skunk. Extremely light bodied, almost does not register on the palate. Long lasting sugar sweetness. Not unpleasant, but I would not pick it up again.

The beer pours a gold color with a slight reddish hue along with a thin white lace head. The aroma is good. It has a light grainy malt scent along with the traditional dry lager yeast aroma. The taste is less than average. It has a weak and watery malt flavor with a dry, yet refreshing finish. It has no character at all. The mouthfeel is average. It is a low bodied beer with decent carbonation. This beer just isn't that good. I drinks like most lagers; good on super hot days.

Bottle Inspection: Best by 17/07/04 (sampled late: 09/2005 from the “Beers of the World Sampler pack” Thanks to Stephen for picking up the box from the Class VI on post.

Aroma: Slightly skunky, a bit of a Heineken note, some mild malt.

Appearance: Very clear yellow glass with nice white head that laced.

Flavor: Mild overall flavor, typical of style, fairly clean, no off tastes, but no real taste either. Bland

Mouthfeel: Bone dry finish is fairly impressive, otherwise a medium body and carbonation.

Overall Impression: Eh, unremarkable. It’s a clean Lager; nothing wrong with it but nothing exciting about it. Solid craftsmanship
