Hazy yellow lemonade with a ring of bubbles around the top. Lemon wheat and cream on the nose. The finish is of lemon drops and lemon candy gummy bears. Starts off creamy with a fruity tangy lemon zip. A bit too sweet on the finish with an unfortunate shampoo quality. Considering the amount of fruit that went into this it isn't terribly overwhelming, but I still prefer the original hefe. I usually throw the lemon away.

Pours a hazy, straw color. One inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of strong lemon, wheat, ginger, and slight hops. Does not fit the style of a Hefeweizen. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. Tastes of strong lemon, wheat, hint of pale malt, slight hops, and ginger. Overall, the ginger and lemon are so strong that this is unrecognizable as a Hefeweizen.

Pours out a mild burnt orange color with a nice thick white head that quickly thins out into a thin ring round the glass. There's mild lacing and the body runs heavy with bubbles for about two minutes.

Grass notes play the undertone mixed in with a hint of earthiness, the lemon zest and some mild citrus spices make up the rest of the aroma. Mild wheat smells popup here and there

Wheat and lemon zest hit you first followed by the mild grassy flavors. This beer is sweet overall

Clean and crisp and light bodied and filled with carbonation.

Overall this is a sweet ale that's very refreshing.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance - The beer pours a hazy golden orange color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades almost instantly, leaving just a trace of lace on the surface of the brew.

Smell – The aroma of the brew is heaviest of a lemon smell mixed with a little bit of a wheaty and yeasty smell. Along with these aromas are some lighter notes of a grass smell as well.

Taste – The taste begins with a wheat flavor mixed with a light sweetness of a lemonade flavor. The lemonade gets more intense as the taste advances, bringing more sweetness to the taste. All the while some more grainy flavors and a little bit of orange joins the taste, leaving one with a lightly sweetened, somewhat wheaty, but rather refreshing taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is quite light overall with a carbonation level that is rather medium. A little higher carbonation level may have been slightly better, but overall the feel was pretty good for the lighter abv. and lemonade flavors of the brew.

Overall – A decent shandy overall. Lighter and rather refreshing without too much sweetness.

Sampled on Saturday 10/24/15. Comes in a 12-ounce bottle. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a tulip glass.

Brew pours a hazy golden in color with a thin white head. Some spotty lacing was seen that stuck to the sides of the glass when sipped. Aroma is of sweet malts with lemon as would be expected. Pretty much can be said for the taste with neither one over powering the other. Crisp and clean with just a slight bitter finish. Lighter-bodied with good carbonation. Overall a decent brew for the warmer months.
