L: A bright orange-yellow with a bit of haziness, it develops a nice froth of yellow-tinted head that stays around for the duration and leaves respectable lacing
S: While initially hitting with a big grassy and citrus hops note, lots of caramel malts can be seen to come in and balance it out before an almost sulfuric / vegetal note comes out pretty clearly
T: While it may seem a little unusual, I do like the flavor from the hops as citrus, including bittersweet notes more akin to grapefruit, come out very clearly, it brings in waves of pine resin, grass, and leaf before a clear tobacco-like note emerges; caramel and sweetness almost like brown sugar come on strong, but in my opinion don't detract from the hops to the degree that it could
F: Carbonation bites up front and it even begins creamy, but that all fades somewhat quickly; the medium body holds but doesn't lead into the dryness an IPA should, and the sweetness might be a bit much for the palate

Substantial yellow, white head, almost 1". Aroma hit the citrus notes.
Taste had mildly toasted pale malts. Lots of hops, not overly bitter, done well. One of the first citra-citrus forward beers of the last few years. Affordable in 6pack format, would not hesitate to buy this one again if it came around.
