Appearance - Pours a semi-hazy golden color with a good finger's worth of head, average retention, and resulting lace that's thin but sticky.
Smell - A nice grapefruit aroma. Sweet. Ruby-reddish.
Taste - Predominately grapefruit. A solid bready malt character gives this a steady backbone, but doesn't detract from what this beer is about, which is all grapefruit.
Mouthfeel - Medium body. Carbonation lends to a nice bit on the lips and tongue. Goes down fairly smooth.
Overall - Yes! There it is, Widmer Rotator series! Finally! Loads better than it's Rotator counterparts. O'Ryely and Spiced IPA were horrendous. The X-114 was average. This one delivers. I was hesitant to try another in the Rotator series... now I've only got one to go, the Falconer, and I shall do so without the fear that was instilled within me by the O'Ryely and Spiced IPA.

Pours copper, almost a full inch of white head. Aroma was grapefruit and not much else. Going 90s old school on this one.
Taste wasn't just grapefruit bitterness, this had a pink grapefruit like softness to it. I think I like it more than the average beer drinker does. It isn't exceptional or anything, but they seem to be a bit more affordable than a lot of other ipas of similar quality.
