I tried this place again to try to see what people see in it. There are people who swear by their food. I find it okay. The BBQ is the best thing on the menu, but even that is not outstanding. It has always seemed like a cold place to me. There doesn't seem to be any real consistency to the experience or any idea of whether they want to be a beer bar, a sports bar, or a place to listen to music. Just when you think it's a sports bar, they will turn off the sound on an NCAA playoff game so that everyone can listen to a piano player. The beer selection, which occasional notable exceptions, are plebian. The Yuengling is usually the best tap beer, and the bottle selection isn't much better. I did find a Sam Adam's Winter Ale on tap, and it was very good. The food is normal bar fare with an emphasis on the BBQ. It's okay but not great.

Bar/Restaurant in an old house along Route 130 in Cinnaminson. Big place... 1 large bar in the rear of the building, 3-4 dining areas inside and a recently added deck area with another large bar area and additional dining. The deck probably adds about 50% more space to the establishment. Indoor decor and atmosphere is old-timey feeling, save for the large quantity of HD TV's, digital juke box and neon-bar signs. A few bar games such as darts and shuffle board scattered about. Outside, its got a more modern vibe, plenty of TVs again and another juke box.

About 25-30 taps now with 1/3rd macro and 2/3 craft. Plenty of local options (PA & NJ) to choose from. Haven't really bothered looking for craft bottles. but im sure they exist. Food is good old fashioned bar food, not the fancy stuff most places carry now a days - lots of burgers, sandwiches and wings. Throw in a few tasty house smoked BBQ items. The wings and ribs stand out above and beyond.

Service is always friendly but could be a bit more attentive. Prices are really reasonable, especially when you consider the specials. Definitely the spot to brings large groups of friends.

Whistlers is an unpretentious bar/restaurant in Cinnaminson, NJ right on route 130. There's a huge parking lot and a seperate entrance for the bar and dining room. The bar is open, warm, and cozy with wall-to-wall carpeting, dark wood chair backs all around, and green and creme walls accentuated by old fashioned lamps. There are old-fashioned (antique, perhaps?) booths and cocktail tables to the left, and a full-size shuffle board table to the right. And there's a beautiful antique back bar and cash register behind the bar, but they're marred by the 6 TV's perched above it. And those TV's are not alone, there's 3 more on each side of the bar and several in each corner to make a total of 16 altogether. It's great for big games, however, and there's the Buzztime quiz game available which is at least a little bit redeeming. And, to be honest, this is a talkative bar. It's not like it's just a bunch of people hunched over their beers. The regulars are friendly and jovial.

There are only 8 beers on tap, but it's a good selection and there are several more available in bottles. Some of the regular taps include Guinness, Bass, Samuel Adam's seasonal, Sierra Nevada's seasonal (Celebration Ale $3.50 pint), Yuengling and Flying Fish.

The food at the bar is reasonably priced, basic pub grub with a good selection of deep fried appetizers (stuffed jalapenos 2.95), hot & cold sandwiches (turkey hoagie 5.95, grilled cheese 3.25, pizza steak 4.25, BLT 3.55, burger 3.99), pizzas (4.99), chili (2.95) and their specialty wings ([email protected]) and ribs (12.99 half / 16.99 full). The staff is friendly enough, and a good time is almost guaranteed!
