Hand-pulled pint with my Sunday lunch @ Batemans brewery on 11 Nov 2012.

True golden colour, almost lager like in appearance: complete with a white head that wouldn't hang around.

Hops rule the nose and taste throughout the brew: more resinous than citrus to me, notes of grass in the mix too. The malts don't show a great deal but this isn't just a hoppy brew, there is a mildly malty, biscuity semi-sweetness within the flavours before the dry, bitterish finish arrives.

The body depth wasn't as heavy as I'd like, but with lager malts being the choosen none hop ingrediant I shouldn't be surprised really. I suppose it was fine for the style of the beer.
