12 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Poured a dark reddish brown with a good fingers worth of head that settles to a thin layer with wonderful lacing from start to finish.
S: I'm getting roasted malt, caramel, little chocolate, little coffee and a touch of hops right at the very end.
T: All the smelly flavors right up front quickly followed by a crisp hops flavor at the end. Pretty well balanced... I feel it leans a little more on the bitter side.
M: Crisp yet smooth but pretty thin overall.
O: A wonderful looking, smelling brew, but it losses steam after that.... Not bad beer just a little weaker than I was expecting.

dark brown and clear (like a cola) with small creamy head. Slightly sour malty aroma, Taste is somewhat sweet, malts in there, some nuttiness. Finish is dry and bitter. Not as bad as what I was prepared for....

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/31/2014. Pours crystal clear deep reddish brown color with a 2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, cocoa, coffee, brown sugar, toast, dark bread, light raisin/plum, herbal, and yeast/roasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, cocoa, coffee, toast, brown sugar, dark bread, light raisin/plum, herbal, and yeast/roasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, cocoa, coffee, toast, brown sugar, dark bread, light raisin/plum, herbal, and yeast/roasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; with a great bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy, and slightly chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a nice English dark mild ale style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours a deep brown color with a white head. Aroma of black malt, slightly oxidized but not unlike many imported dark malty ales. The flavor is malty with a hint of roast and nuts. Small bitterness not much really. Overall, a decent drinkable dark mild.

First very surprised to find this with I guess a year or more age on it but also for a buck so I didn't expect much.
A - Color is a cola color a deep amber brown with a 1/4 inch of mocha head that doesn't make for much lace.
S - Wow it might be mental but I get a lot of cola smell in the beer as well. Some herbal cough syrup and some sour cherry notes this beer is all over the place.
T - Light but kind of gross it has a slight sweetness to it with herbal syrup and and a mind bit of bitters but it's all super light.
M - Light but not super carbonated. Drinks like a beer not a soda.
Overall I would never get this again even if it tasted better they are not brewing it any more. Such a weird dark mild.
