Bought a single bottle from Beers of the World on 6/21/14. Poured into a Nonic at fridge temp.
appearance: Old Gold tinted amber. White head. good lacing.
smell: a little sweet. corn syrup, perhaps. mild hop aroma more Noble than Fuggles/ Goldings.
taste: thick malt flavored by apple cider vinegar. finish is not crisp, clean or refreshing but leaves a thick malty coating on the tongue.
mouthfeel: good, full bodied.
overall: not good at all.

A - A very dirty blonde indeed with more of an amber rather than yellow. Some pillow like head but not much stickiness.
S - Not bad I do get some decent hop presence but to me it smells very herbal of tea leaves.
T - It taste like they blended this with there brown because I swear I taste some brown malt mid palate. Far from disgusting you get you classic tea leave taste from English bitters and some sweet malts in the finish.
M - Light to medium, far more body than one gets with other light summer ales.
Overall not going to get this one again but it was easy enough to knock back even from the bottle.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is malty, bready. Taste is malts, some sweetness, a bit of fruit, light hops are present. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a smooth and refreshing beer.

Poured into a shaker pint glass.
Look: Clear pale straw color. White foamy head leaves little film, but has light lacing.
Aroma: Sweet cereal grain and malts.
Taste: A nice grainy, toasted malt body. A nice tang of hops to finish. Faint citrus.
Mouthfeel: Medium to light, crisp.
Overall: the more I drink it, the more citrus comes out. It's a fairly easy drinker.

Wife's out at the bar with friends, I'm home drinking crafts. I guess I really am a homebody enjoying the finer things in life instead of getting sloppy and listening to loud and terrible music with people falling over each other.
I digress..
Appearance (3.75) : A solid center pour yields a fluffy 2 finger eggshell white head. The body is pale golden color naturally, and very clear. Lacing is left behind in rings as it recedes slowly.
Aroma (3.75) : Yeast, spiced black jelly bean, candy jelly bean, malt, some fresh grass, pancake batter. It does smell good despite the oddities listed here. It's very fresh and appealing. Bouquet is weak to medium strength.
Taste (3.25) : Bread and butter come out almost immediately... which is really good but there's prominent hops and they destroy that luscious flavor. See, I like blondes that taste like liquid bread. That goes for beers, too. So when it's almost there for me and something gets in the way, it's a bit frustrating. I can't say much else other than the yeast being bready, and the diacetyl being buttery. The hops come in and put moderate bitterness on all of that. I don't mind a balance, but I wish it had a more yeast-malt only flavor. Get thee behind me, hops!
This one actually tastes better out of the bottle.
Mouthfeel (3.25) : Light bodied, carbonated, lightly creamy. Ends hoppy and semi-dry.
Overall (3.42) : Glad I didn't purchase a six pack of this. It's not a bad beer, but at $2 a shot, well...whatever. Their flagship beer is better. On to the next one! Getting crunked tonight!
