12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.

Pours a massive tan head, nearly pitch black liquid. Smells of fresh brewed coffee, roasted malts, a hint of dark sugar, and toast. Smooth with a bit of creaminess on the palate, roasted malt and roasted coffee flavors are on point. A bit of charcoal, blackstrap molasses, and dark chocolate in there. Semi-sweet but there is enough roasted character to balance. A very easy drinking and flavorful Coffee infused Porter.

Presentation: 12 oz bottle stamped" Filled 10/17/16" pored into a pint glass.

Look: Deep solid black with a 1.5 finger tan head. Very good head retention.

Smell: Malts and alcohol followed by the strong smell of black coffee.

Taste: Coffee is the prevailing flavor here but well balanced overall.

Feel: medium mouthfeel with rather high high carbonation.

Overall: A very good coffee porter.

Pours very dark brown with a with a dense creamy tan head that abated only gradually. Pronounced roasted malt with some coffee and caramel flavors. Finishes with only a bit of hops tang. Nicely drinkable.

Nice Dark coffee look, big cream head. Smoky, earthy smells.

Coffee grains hit you upfront, with some roastiness. Porter sweetness follows, some vanilla, but with a very light feel. Dryness, with a tacky, sandy lingering finish. It lack a hardiness that I was expecting and it's a bit too bubbly.

It's got aspects of coffee and aspects of a smoky porter, but doesn't quite pull it all together. An expirement gone not quite right.

Bomber. Pours beep brown with tan head that fades quickly to a ring. Aroma is pure coffee. Coffee dominant flavor, finishes with plenty bitterness and dry. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, even for a porter.

Nice retention on the pour. Aromas and flavors are in line with each other. Fairly roasty, with some chocolate malt and black coffee. The bitterness is moderate. The body is an excellent example of a porter other than I got a little bit of chalkyness from it. Very enjoyable.

A: Pours a dark black with a tan head that dissipated to a film atop the brew.

S: Big coffee nose on this. Pretty hard to get anything other than fresh brewed java.

T: Sweet roasted malt and coffee flavor dominate the taste buds.

M: Feel is a little thin and watery but it is a porter so it fits the style.

O: If you like coffee, you'll like this. Coming in at just under 6%, it is enjoyable and won't but you straight to bed.
