Gold with a tint of red. Sediment floating and a slightly lacy ring.

Very hopy nose. The bottle says Cascade, Colombus and Amerillo bops but the cascade is not as abvious as the others.

A real nutty maltyness. Good mouthfeel and easy on the tongue.

Quite a tasty brew and i wouldn't mind putting down a few more

Another good offering from Marin Brewing Co. This one escaped the bottle a hazy orange color with a small light frothy head that left a touch of lace. The smell was quite malty and bread like with a touch of floral hoppiness in the background. The flavor was quite tame compaited to other pale ales out there. The big chewy malt backbone dominated the flavor and the citrus flavors of the hops could only peak their head out for a second. A little less hoppy of a pale ale compaired to what I'm used to, but still quite enjoyable.

Reddish gold with a bit of haze, nice thin, creamy head.

Smelt of orange and other citrus hops at first, now that the head has subsided, pale malt and wheat coming through.

Bitter up front, giving way to the malt. They do mingle nicely. If you're into "balanced" beer, you'll like this one. If you focus, you can clearly detect and separate the hop and malt flavors, but they're present at levels that work nicely together if you want to just sit back and enjoy.

I like it, but for me, it's not a stand out.

Paired with a Spring Hill Farms Dry Jersey Jack. Works pretty well. Fairly even strength of flavors.

Solid APA. Pours clear copper with a good off-white head. Nice aroma of malt, hops, and wood. Lots of citrus and hoppy bite up front that mellows into malty sweetness. Nice beer. While the taste is similar to other APAs, this feels cleaner and fresher. One of the better ones in this category.

A: Crystal-clear copper hue. Small head, quick dissapition. No lace.

S: Can barely smell this one. Has just a faint floral scent.

T: A lighter even crisper version of their IPA. I'd call it a "Perrier pale ale" since it's so refreshing.

M: Carbonation it hoppin' with the hops! This beer would be great for people that think sierra nevada is to hoppy(not me!).

D: High&Easy. Lookin' for an all-day beer? You've found it!

12 ounce can into an oversized tulip.

Copper in color with a rich and fluffy head. Clean and attractive.

Smells of biscuity and bready malt, sweet floral notes and zesty grapefruit. Faint but pleasant.

Tastes true to nose. Zesty, floral, sweet bubblegum, bread and biscuit.

Light and drinkable and refreshing. I'm digging this.

A simple easy drinking American pale. Understated hoppiness, but you can enjoy the aroma. Very light mouthfeel. Orange with tons of foam. Citrus mouthfeel, a tad drying finish. I shared the bomber, and could have polished it off myself in a session. From the label, loks like they have brewing the same recipe for many years, and I hope that tradition is maintained.

Pours a rich golden color topped by a small, creamy white head that vanishes into obscurity in mere moments. Nice aroma of floral, piney hops and light honey-sweet malt. Palate is a mellow blend of grassy hops and lightly sweet malt, with hints of honey and light citrus. Body is nice, light, and a touch creamy. A very drinkable pale ale.

Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma has a light caramel malt sweetness with orange rind and pine resin. Taste is balanced, some light malt character and a light hop bitterness on the finish. Slightly metallic. Light body, medium carbonation. Overall it's decent but very boring.

Pours a big foamy head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is mild lemon and grain.
The taste starts out a little watery, gets some moderate lemon and grapefruit bitterness and finishes with a mild honey sweetness. Nice and easy profile.
The texture is crisp with soft edges.
Nicely drinkable.
