Pours pale cloudy yellow with a decent thick bubbly head. No lace. bubbles rising.
Big lemon peel and carbonated water scent. Some white pepper.
This one is just flat out missing the malt. Very light wheat flavor, some yeast, but this is all lemon and some white pepper and maybe some cardamon. Watery thin strength of flavor. Tart lemon thru to the finish. Light bitterness.
Light bodied, ok carbonation, but a little watery.
Bought $9 bomber. Ugh. This is not something I'll get again. Glad it is a hot day -- will chug in front of the grill.

Pours a pale yellowish color with a fine-grained pure white foam in the Ommegang chalice. Can't fault the creamy mouthfeel. The aroma seems lacking.
The first sip makes me think of celery tonic. So does the tenth sip. Light and fluffy with an unusual aromatic flavor. Not so much spiced as infused with something. There is a touch of lemon as well as cucumber. Quite dry but without any hint of yeasty flavors. Overall the taste is rather faint.
I guess this one's a matter of personal taste. It seems well made but to me it has a peculiar flavor that doesn't compare to the multitude of "regular" Witbiers. From the 750 corked bottle purchased for ten bucks at Ibis Food Mart in San Diego.

On tap and served in a branded glass at a small cafe in Lille, France.
Appearance: Cloudy hazy glowing white straw yellow beer. Huge head and lots of lacing.
Smell: Practically no smell at all other than a hint of lemon.
Taste: Grainy, watery, with lemon rind - lemon citrus sticks out most of all, but weak - balanced by some of the malt but the malt is weak as well. There is no finish to this beer - it just stops.
Mouthfeel: Watery, with OK carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: Not a good beer. Weak, insipid, poorly done. Nice looking, but substandard in all other aspects.
