Pack of 6x0,25l bottles bought at Lidl for under 2,5€/l. ABV is 6,2%, not 6,5%. Producer listed on the pack isn't Les Brasseurs de Gayant as listed here but Brasserie Champigneulles.
Clear opaque golden color, foam fastly disappearing.
Typical smell of malt and yeast: not refined but not bad either.
Strong taste of malt, sweetness, nearly imperceptible bitterness, basic. Taste also not refined.
Medium body, low carbonation. Not bad but without distinct features and a natural feel.

Poured out of a 750ml bottle into a La Chouffe tulip.
Amber colour, slightly hazy, decent sized thick head which hung around for a bit, left some lacing.
S: Yeast, phenols and malt.
T: Phenols, wheat, bubblegum, candy sugar, on the sweet side.
M: Medium to thick texture, low carbonation, smooth.
O: A typical Northern French style beer, slightly overdid the sweetness but was drinkable.

Shared from bottle. Pours a clear golden colour and a white head with good retention. Aroma's of fruit, sweetish, grainish, a bit stale. Retronasal it's fruity and sweetish. Flavour is moderate sweet with some fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Ever so slightly bitter in the finish. Clean but rather boring.

Clean, limpid, golden. Creamy foam, long standing.
In the smell yeast (candy sugar (too much), a delicate fruitiness and a light band-aid hint.
Candy sugar in the taste too, with fruit (apricot) and yeast.
Decent, after all.

From Lidl. In Grimbergen glass. Shared with Javi. At lunch, with fried potatoes + eggs + turkey steaks. Typical belgian pale ale, maybe a bit over sugary-sweet but for the price tag it is fairly fine.

Surprised by this French offering! Certainly a Belgian style blonde. With a sweet initial zing of the taste buds, it does leave a little harsh aftertaste, but certainly not too bitter.
The foamy head is quick to disintegrate, probably showing it's lack of heritage, but for the price, a decent and reasonably quaffable brew!
If I was into home brewing, which I'm not!, but if I were, and had produced this, then I would be pretty pleased with myself.
.....update on this one, consumed shortly after a bush blonde, and closer to cellar temperature second time round.
There are some hidden caramel notes, and still just as drinkable. I have marked the taste down a tad, guess I was probably a touch eager on the first run, or more likely slightly beyond the legal limit.

£2.49 from Lidl, 750ml corked and caged bottle.
Pours orangey (explains the "with caramel" on the label) blonde, small head. Bright.
Phenolic yeastyness gives way to a metallic irn-bru aroma. Interesting, albeit not particularly good.
Boiled sweets in flavour, mild bitterness, medium dry finish, average cab
It's ok
