Pours a cloudy and dull dark red color with a decent head.
Aromas are of sweet cereal, grain, and a touch of citrus hops.
Flavors up front are a bit muted. There is a slightly sweet and creamy malt like quality to this one. Finish has a sweet and tart gingerbread like taste.
Mouthfeel is ok, kind of weak up front, but there is a decent and somewhat full finish to this.
Drinkability is pretty good. Not overwhelming, or overly interesting. But this is an average and drinkable American Amber.
Thanks for sending this bottle my way jpagewatts.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip.
Appearance: Pours a dark, murky amber with a very minimal head that is gone almost immediately. No lacing to speak of.
Smell: Smells of caramel, candy, raisins, dark fruits, soy sauce, and sweet malts.
Taste: This beer has a weird flavor that isn't totally to my liking. It sort of tastes like a a Charleston Chew melted into a not-too-good beer. Also lots of those raisin and soy sauce notes. It gets slightly more appealing as it warms, but it's a little bit too sweet overall, with accents on the wrong notes.
Mouthfeel: It's kind of chewy and reasonably dense for the style.
Overall: This kind of feels like a rough draft of a beer or a home brew effort. The taste is inconsistent and there are some unappealing flavor accents that are a little too strong. I want to like this, because it's from a cool part of Vermont that I've always wanted to visit and has a cool bottle design, but it's just not there. I'll try other stuff from this brewery in the future in the hopes that they iron out some of the kinks.
