Poured from a 12oz bottle into a stemmed tulip glass

Pours a deep reddish, copper with a tall (two fingers) sudzy, tan head that falls to a thin collar with some lacing. The nose is mostly sweet caramel malt and hints of bread and biscuits with hops more as an afterthought, slightly floral and spicy at the end. The taste follows suit and is malt forward, sweet caramel, toasted malts, and biscuits. The bittering hops come through on the end drying the palate out with some floral and spice notes. The finish is surprising short and lacking. The body is a bit thin but there is nice carbonation. Overall, this is a very drinkable but underwhelming IPA.
