L: Good carbonation, white head with large bubbles that left a thick lacing. Light gold color.
S: Bit of sour funk - kind of like sourdough bread but really really mild.
T: Doesn't really follow the nose. Rather flat, not complex malt.
F: Thin

Pours gold in color, clear, with 1/4 inch head. Taste is honey and sweet toasted malt. Above average, tasty, clean lager. Not something I would rush out to get, but certainly enjoyable.

Poured into pint glass. It pours a clear golden-yellow. Although it is quite carbonated, there is only a very thin, snow-white head and almost no lacing. The aroma is mostly grain and grass; nothing else to speak of. Ditto the taste: mostly grain and grass, although it does have a touch of sweetness; I cannot tell whether it is fruit or corn. It is dry but has no bitterness. I didn't notice any hops. Its feel is very light, almost watery. It has a noticeable fizziness. With its very low ABV, it is exceedingly drinkable. I could imagine sitting in a dimly-lit bar in Mombasa and drinking this all day under a slowly-turning fan. Overall, compared to many other Adjunct American Lagers, Tusker isn't bad. And it's a lot more interesting and fun.

Gold to straw yellow in color with a fingernail of brilliant white on top. There's excellent clarity here. I smell corn and Hallertau hops. No surprise here that I taste corn and Hallertau hops. This is a beer meant for hot weather and is intended to be drank ice cold. The mouth is thin, light, and crisp.

The smell is really strong and fruity but the taste is quite mild with a wheat soda / malta finish. I could drink it like water.

Right from the start, this beer was off. Smell was funky, taste was almost non-existant and mouthfeel was watery.I got my first beer from Africa, but it was nothing to write home about. Avoid....
