L: sunshine yellow with a huge fluffy bone-white head that decreases to a half finger. S: barnyard funk, fruity Saison yeast esters, macintosh/delicious (ie mealy style) apples, hay, some coriander. T: funk, hay, minerals and grass predominate, Amarillo comes through but lessens on the linger, a hint of mealy apple and coriander. Has a bite similar to La chouffe. Malts are a background player providing some structure. F: excellent, crisp and dry. String carbonation that is pleasantly prickly. Good/solid Saison and happy to have tried it just for the mouthfeel, but I don't feel a need to seek it out again.

750ml bottle into tulip. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a light golden with a billowing and very airy and frothy bright white head that slowly faded into a rocky film. The head is huge despite a slow pour. Wispy sticky lace was left down the glass. A fuzzy and thick collar lasted the whole beer through.
S: Big apple juice and golden pear nose mixed with hints of crisp light wheat. Slight notes of bubblegum yeast. Definitely full of golden fruits. Mildly peppery and minerally.
T: Peppery yeast, dry golden fruits, apple juice, not especially sweet though, flavors are light, crisp and drying, and the fruits are golden and flavorful. Spicy slightly herbal finish, with a lingering peppery and mineral aftertaste. Crispy slightly chalky wheat base.
M: Light body, light and crisp mouthfeel, fuzzy and soft and frothy carbonation.
O: A bit too thin and not the most complex. Good but wouldn't want again.

On tap. Hazy yellow, one finger head. Delicate but funky nose, some citrus & stone fruit. Earthy/fruity palate but loses the funk. Light bodied. Nice collaboration.

Slightly hazed, golden-yellow color with a huge, froth head, leaving a thin, bubbly lacing at the side of the glass.

Slightly funky aromas of mellow yeast with green grass, lemon peel, onion and subtle, malt based sweetness.

Begins with an intriguing interplay between sparkling, coppery carbonation and tongue-biting, warm spices, coming along with hints of black pepper and herbal, floral notes. These get enhanced by a grassy hoppiness which inherits an enjoyable bitterness, wrapped up by soft, white-bread yeast. A malty sweetness developes underneath these flavors and becomes more and more detectable during the finish, which gets joined by a slick, soft bitterness, a melange of yeast and hops. These very different flavors go unexpetedly well together, enhancing each others taste, without any off-flavors or distractions. Clove morphs flawlessly into floral hops, with carbonation calming the malty sweetness by coppery metallicness.

Unexpectedly complex, but throughout pleasant with a finish which is bitter and sweet at the same time, leaving me very satisfied.

This is one of the most delicate beers I've ever had. On a guest draft at 3's in Brooklyn, March 10. Excellently made.
