Beautiful orange gold color. Profuse head. Peppery! Smells lightly herbaceous. Taste is pepper forward with sharp effervescence. Herb hoppiness. A little bitterness from the hoppiness. Minimal spice, apart from that peppery flavor.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a nice semi-transparent orange with about an inch of white head. Quickly dissipates. The nose is orange, wheat, grass, bread, floral, and a hint of clove.

The taste is super smooth. Lemon, orange, caramel, honey, clove, sweet candy malts, and an earthy note. Lovely.

Nice light mouthfeel with a relatively soft and sweet aftertaste.

a lovely take on the style, distinct and very well refined. its been ages since i had anything from these guys, or even seen their beers in the states, also the first i am seeing of this little bottle format from them, had to pick this up when i found it. a deep honey color on this, airy wispy almost delicate looking white head on top of slightly denser looking beer, an apricot color, pretty clear, looks right. the nose is sweeter than expected, definite white sugar character, along with gentle grass and cut flowers, a somewhat subtle yeast profile, familiar with a pear and white wine ester, but almost restrained or even a little incomplete to me, it could certainly be dried out a little more, but i like the apparent richness, its elegant and refined still, just carrying some real sweetness. the flavor is similar, i get a dried fruit layer up front, golden raisin and even dried mango, then some honey and warm bread, then some sturdy alcohol and herbal hops on the finish, unique trajectory and balance. pretty full body here, the sugar adds to that, but fluffy feeling and very well carbonated so its not heavy to drink. a nice slow sipper that warms up very well, definitely floral and vibrant, fresh to me, slightly fancy, tidy and traditional. stoked to have found this, i wish their stuff was a little easier to find...

Purchased a bottle of this beer at the Craft Beer Cellar in Dallas.

Absolutely gorgeous beer! Pour into a tulip glass produces a thick, creamy white head atop a slightly hazy bright yellow body. Wonderful curtain lacing, and the head sticks around. Smell and taste of sweet pears and apples. Candied oranges, white pepper and warm spice. Creamy, smooth feel. Very nice beer!

A beautiful presence out of the bottle—nearly clear amber, with a thick layer of meringue. Good on the nose, offering the prospect of sweetness. That expectation is exquisitely fulfilled. The beer is sophisticatedly yeasty, with a lingering brightness and just enough alcoholic burn. The mouthfeel is a touch prickly, but arguably creamy in resolution.

11.2oz bottle Best before end 20/05/23 poured into a chalice at 53° Fahrenheit 9% ABV. The beer pours mostly bright honey colored amber with nearly white head. The head recedes to an uneven cap and leaves a web of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet pale malt with additional notes of banana and clove. The taste is semisweet pale malt with restrained banana and clove. Mild earthy bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation and a dry finish. No trace of the ABV in the aroma or taste. Overall, very good. Nicely balanced & dangerously drinkable at 9%
