Very nice gueuze. Big green apple presence in the smell. It tastes a lot like a nice cider. It's very funky with also some citrus. It's tart but not sour. Very nice champagne like mouthfeel

This was poured into a stange. The appearance was a hazy yellow color with a two finger white sustaining foamy head. Stringy lacing slides down the glass nicely. The smell had a sharp citrus slightly bitter, slightly sweet, decent amount of sour and a super light underscore of earthiness. The taste was mainly sour but a good sour with the tart there as well. Earthy and somewhat woody sweetness runs into the aftertaste and leaves a quick finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. This would be great on a hot Summer’s day as there’s a nice refreshing quality about it, not as dry as I thought it would be. Overall, I say this was a wonderful beer as I would definitely have again.

Bottle to tulip glass. No head retention at all- I need to check glass cleanliness. Vinegar, tart, musty in nose. Very tart and semi sweet but finishes dry with barnyard funkiness. Sharp carb bite.

This is my first gueze and not overly familiar with style. Interesting experience.

Found an older bottle in our celler. Mamy of its sour, tart edges had mellowed allowing a raft of other flavours through. Stll lots of dry funky fruitiness.

Look: Hazy straw color. 2-finger head and very active. Head retention is outstanding.

Smell: Some vinegar, bread, and sour fruit. Not as strong as I expected.

Taste: Bitter and sour bite with herbs and peppercorn flavors. A strong spicy flavor. There's this powerful flavor that reminds me of horseradish. Fairly sweet at first, but gets dry as you go. More spices and fruit come out towards the end.

Feel: Light-bodied. Stays fizzy.

Overall: Very good Belgian Ale / Geuze. Not too sour and it lets other flavors come through.

Bucket list beer here. Does not disappoint. Medium lacto snap but heavy barnyard funk. Thick mouthfeel and subtle malt backbone. Just flipping fantastic.

Lots of critters in the bottle to enjoy. Free snacks!!

L: It pours an effervescent hazy gold that kicks up a 2" off-white Champagne-like foam cap that is surprisingly persistent. The glass is filled with bubbles rushing to the top to replenish the cap.

L: It has an interesting aroma of berry, tobacco, wet leather, mild barnyard funk and a trace of tart.

T: The flavors start with berry and lemony tartness with traces of barnyard, wet horse blanket and a hint of honey biscuit behind the tartness. There is no evidence of hops. The tartness is moderately high with the berry flavors and funk providing balance and producing an interesting and refreshing drink.

F: It has an extremely mousse-like texture - it flows through the mouth somewhere between a liquid and a foam. The body is light and foamy with a slight acidic bite and a dry, slightly astringent finish.

one of the my favorites. unique and excellent. beautiful foam stays all day long. amazingly complex taste from wild fermentation. lemon and grapefruit taste with refreshingly astringent. some floral and earthy touches. amazingly balanced. low bodied, but feeling is awesome due to high carbonation. no need to taste of hops. highly drinkable despite some sourness. amazing beer.
