Look: Deep red/burgundy with two inch head. Medium carbonation.
Smell: Cherries, oak, wood, and blackberries.
Taste: Cherries, vanilla, not very tart at all. Not much oak, either. Tastes a bit like a Berliner Weiss to me.
Mouthfeel: Light and creamy. Not all that complex.
Overall: I love kreiks, and this is a good one, but I'm looking for more complexity and not nearly tart enough.

375ml cork-caged bottle poured into a teku glass.

Hazy deep purple pinkish hue with thick frothy pinkish head that stands with good retention, it gradually dissipates to an eternal foamy layer covering atop and leaves minimal trail of lace.

Yes, it is tart, yeasty, and very fruity of sour cherry through a nose and taste buds. The fruitiness part reminds me of intense cherry, also apple cider, green apple, and lemon. Funky, yeasty sour, tart, and acidic elegantly travel and coat the nasal and palate while malt is left sunken with only slight sweet touch. Hop is almost completely hidden by those cherry and yeasty characters.

Light to medium body with smooth and fizzy champagne-like mouthfeel, the feeling is crisp and refreshing with a dry finish. Very good blend of cherry making it lively and very refreshing.

375ml bottle poured into Sam Adams pine glass.

This beer does not appear to be suffering from a loss of carbonation. Pours a clear cherry red with a monstrous head of rocky pink foam that leaves gothic archway lace as it slowly recedes.

Smells of fresh cherry pie, red wine vinegar, wildberry jam, musty oak barrel, soft soil and dried vanilla.

Tastes of juicy cherry, more sour red wine and barrel wood, earthy funk and more mild vanilla.

Feels soft and fluffy. Medium bodied with finely frothy carbonation. Finishes dry.

Verdict: Vigorously recommended. Better than eating cherries.

Vintage 2015. 6.00% ABV.

The cork flies up to the ceiling. Act quickly.

Dark ruby red, with a massive pinkish head that never drops below one centimeter. Just beautiful.

Intense smell of wild cherries, farm life and slightly acidic oak.

Like an oaky, tart, perfectly balanced cherry bomb going off in your mouth. The carbonation is out of this world. I'm giggling by now.

Cherry brilliance in a very affordable bottle.

Pours an opaque brick-purple with medium link head that dissipates leaving a ring but no lace. Nose is cherry lollipop and plum, she a sweet tartness. Just a little funk, but light. Taste is mildly tart, with citrus and plum. A bit of cherry cough syrup as well. More refreshing towards the finish. A thicker mouthfeel than expected. Overall, just okay.

Vintage 2014. Best Before 27.03.2034

A: Pours a deep ruby red color with 2+ fingers of head that quickly fizzles down to a very thin cap

S: Lots of cherry and oaky notes up front, with hints of vanilla and leathery tannins. A bit of barnyard funkiness in there as well, along with a touch of acetic acid

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with tart, acidic cherry notes followed by oak, tannins, and a light sweetness. The barnyard and vinegar notes are still very much on the lighter side, and show up after the initial tartness. The acidity leaves no lingering finish behind

M: Medium bodied with moderate-high carbonation. Definitely on the bubbly side

O: A classic kriek with a solid lambic base and great cherry addition. The oak does a nice job tempering the tartness, as do (more specifically) the tannins. Very drinkable. Definitely worth checking out

Hazy, dark ruby-red beer with a one finger high, creamy, pink head.

Nose: Tart, funk, red berries, cherries, apple peel, strawberry, oak, vanilla and barnyard.
Taste: Sour, tart, cherries, strawberries, almond, citrus, vanilla and oak.
Mouth: Full body. Light and smooth carbonation. Dry ending.

If you are in to lambic beers - this is pure love!

Consumed on May 14, 2016 from a 375ml bottle poured into a tulip at about 50 degrees. "Best before 10.04.2034" printed on back label.

Beer pours a deep maroon with a very fine pink head. The head is retained for a long time, settling down to a dense ring around the glass with thin but complete coverage across the entire surface.

Aroma is sour cherries. If there's anything else, I can't discern it.

Flavor is tart and sweet (in that order), with plenty of cherry flavor that avoids overkill. Slight woody note on finish.
Simple and straightforward and dead-on.

Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and well carbonated.

World class sour beer.

Tart, funk, musty, really dry. No sweetness in this kriek at all. The cherries balance the extreme tartness. Reminds me of Hanssens Gueuze in taste and mouthfeel. Just a touch of cherry in addition

Big aromas of strawberry jam. Rich dark, meaty cherries with bright acidity as well. Vanilla, almond, damp oak. Brett character is somewhat tropical. Wet hay, earthy mushrooms. Cherries and fruit dominate though.

Pours dark burgundy with ruby highlights. Bright pink small head but with decent retention and some lacing despite the acidity.

Tart cherries and almonds. Mouthwatering acidity. Vanilla, jammy fruit, and citrus. Tangerines, raspberries, and some funk. Fruit character and acidity dominate. Damp wood, forest floor, musty basement. Acidity is clean and mostly lactic. Perhaps a hint of acetic, but it's kept in check.

Light body high carbonation. Bone dry but with tons of fruit and acidity lingering on the palate. Perhaps a tiny bit of tannins.

Can definitely compete with some of the more-lauded krieks. Lots of rich cherry flavor.

Pours a ruby red body with a faint pink head. The taste is wildly tart with a wonderful cherry flavour. There is a very nice feel associated with it as well. Love this as a nice session beer. Awesome.

Pours a reddish body with a dark pink head, very thick. Dry cherries with touches of wood in the flavor as well as aroma. Would have liked a bit more tartness as it seemed tame to me but overall a good kriek.

375ml into random hotel glassware

L - Brilliant deep red with light 1 inch pink head. Slightly murky but the bottle only had 8 hours to settle in the fridge
S - Initially a hint of barnyard that settles down to sharp acidity and bright tart cherry
T - Hint of funk followed by waves of tart cherries with sharp acid - could do with a touch of cherry sweetness to balance out the acidity as it is very dry
F - bright and effervescent - prickly carb

Overall a fantastic example of Kriek; way under-rated and so much easier to get than FFF and Cantillon and certainly in the same league.

Red color, pink head, impressive. Aroma was wood, cherry, plenty sour and tart.

Fruit came across very fresh, reminiscent of pie. Cherry pie. Mild funk. Sweet cherry gets counterbalanced well by the hearty sourness. Carbonation and acidity right where you want 'em.

This is a pretty good deal in the lambic world. Not gonna make you forget about lou pepe, but that isn't sitting on shelves as much, much less for this price.

2014 Vintage into Crooked Stave tulip
Pours bright red with pink foamy head. Sinks after a couple minutes to a ring around the edge. Aroma of sour cherry, sour apple, oak, slight acetic (good) and slight funk. Flavor follows the nose with a nice sour smack and some added minerals and tannins. Feel is light and crisp, spot on for the style. Overall a tasty glass. Recommended.

Deep crimson red with a hint of pulp, little carbonation and a finger of hot pink head.

Cherries, sour tartness, dusty barrels, macaroni.

Berries like elderberries, sour and bone dry, cherries. A sort of medicinal hint on the finish.

Rich and acidic with no sweetness. Medium to low foamy carbonation.

Got on wish beer, drank in Chiang Mai Dec 17th. Really top quality. Rivals Cantillon, and is in the same level of tartness.

500ml corked and caged bottle poured into nonic pint

A: dark foreboding blood in color with the haze to match big fat chunky head that is pink! cherry indeed

S: has that light vinegar and lemon smell with a big dose of bing cherry and a slight metallic smell almost cough medicinish light pear smell as well

T: lots of cherry in the flavor and aftertaste little bit if sourness but wow does the cherry pop in this beer

M: very lively effervescent on the tongue very tingly and makes the beer feel huge but it really isn't

O: very good beer you feel like you are always chasing the flavor though the mouthfeel is so overwhelming you try to weed through that to the flavor. I have only had a few cherry sours but this is the most cherry tasting one without any of the sweetness. It is actually quite impressive you get that sour pie cherry taste upfront and then a bing cherry flavor on the end.

A - Pours a deep raspberry, clear raspberry color with a thick raspberry colored lacing ring.

S - Tart, sour, sweet acidic raspberries. This is a great nose.

T - Raspberries that are tart, slightly acidic, tangy sourness from start to finish. The blend between the tartness and acidity could not be better.

M - Full medium body with very minimal carbonation that creates a creamy palate sensation with a dry finish on the top of the tongue and makes the sides of the tongue water.

O - This beer is world class - seek this out.

Poured into a white wine glass for presentation. Such a beautiful purple-red lambic brew! Lots of sour cherry and other berry notes in this beer. Perfectly sour and not overwhelming. I had little crunchy granules of maybe sugar or something at the end of this beer that I either loved or hated... more on the hated side, like gritty sand or something. Other than that last little thing though, this was an outstanding lambic that I would highly recommend to anyone (even those non-hardcore sour beer drinkers).

A: Deep red.
S: You can practically smell the sour coming off this one.
T: Starts off complex, then finishes with an awesomely strong sour punch, which demands slow consumption.
M: Mild carbonation.
O: Bold, refreshing, and just plain enjoyable.
