Poured still from the cellared bottle. Love rhubarb and lambic, so was excited to try them together! Cloudy orange body with a white head. Aromas of rhubarb, general citrus, barnyard funk, hay and oak. Taste has huge tart rhubarb with sour orange and lemon backing, hay, cheesecloth and even more barnyard funk build with the oak, but honestly thought the rhubarb slowly took over and dulled the nuances of the underlying lambic as it warmed. Feel is sour, more acidic than usual, somewhat thin yet dries out through the sip but stops short of being completely dry.

Pours a golden orange with no head.
Smell is tart and citrusy with distinct notes of rhubarb and hints of oak and funk.
Taste is crisp and soft, quite tart but not sour. Big, dry notes of rhubarb along with some lemon, oak and funk with a little bit of bitterness. Very refreshing and vinous.
Mouthfeel is still and very dry.
Overall, a very approachable sour, but still with some depth.

Draft served in a tumbler glass at the mighty Kulminator in Antwerp. "Rabarber!" Leen called downstairs to Dirk in the cellar, and a few minutes later he arrived behind the bar with this glass.
Opaque reddish orange, completely still. Acidic rhubarb aroma, lemony tart and puckering rhubarb flavor that dovetails perfectly with the softly lemony, oaky lambic base. After having the Oude Vielle Lambiek separately, the rhubarb is definitely a complimentary enhancement. Recommended.
