pinkish colour with fading light vanilla pink foam. Some cherry and a bit of farm in smell. Taste is a bit of farm, it is cherry soda with some water fading in second half of bottle, lightening mouthfeel. Hits the bullseye.

Nov. 2015: 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Dark red colour, large pink head. Lovely aroma of sour cherries and cherry kernels, also farmhouse notes. Fairly dry and tart flavour, sour cherries and tannins.

A large, airy pastel purple foam rises high over a shimmering dark purple-red, gem-like body.
Smell is really nicely balanced of woody funk and dark mature cherries with light black pepper. It's just really pleasant and cleanly expressed.
The effervescent, medium body brings just the right amount of bubbly on this New Year's Eve without disappearing into boozy nothingness like some champagne might, delivering flavors of perfectly tart kriek expression with a light, woody funk complexity and a touch of Gushers before the tingly, semi-dry finish.

2013 bottle. Very solid kriek. Great cherry flavour, nice amount of funk, very dry. Hits all the flavours you would expect and does so well. No surprises here, but nothing to be disappointed by either.

Loudest pop ever when I removed the cork. Pours a purple red, short lived head of pink foam and minimal lacing. Smells of sour cherries, funk, wood, degree of sourness not known yet. Moderately sour cherries, very woody, light funk flavours. Fairly light bodied with champagne like carbonation. Quite good but $58 worth good? Nah.

Bottle: Poured a light reddish color lambic with a nice large white foamy head. Aroma of tart cherry notes with oak and yeast presence also discernible. Taste is also a mix of tart cherry notes with some oak notes with some yeasty flavours also apparent. Body si about average with excellent carbonation. I really enjoyed the additional dimension that the Champagne treatment brought to this beer.
