2022: The Bierhuis bar has reopened after 20 years, a one-time flower shop in the interim, now lovingly restored to it’s former glory. Long live Oud Beersel!
Toer de Geuze 2019: Day 1 - 2nd stop, Day 2 - 3rd stop
Great facility, sadly we were short on time both days and it was absolutely packed. Sampled Oud Vieux Lambiek, Vandervelden 137, and Green Walnut. The shop was insane on the second day, and sadly I didn't get a chance to see the more historic parts of the brewery. The cafe (pictured above) had been closed for some time, but was re-opened for the fest, however regular opening hours may still be in the works. Had a great bloodwurst from the grill for 4 euro, and it was huge! Sampled the Oude Gueuze a few times over the trip, and it was excellent as always.
