Fishermen Brew poured a amber color, with not much head. There was a nice malty smell, with hints of something sweet, maybe cinnamon. The taste is malty, with a hoppy harsh finish. It takes like a fancy yuengling, it does blend nicely, but still has a harshness with the after taste. It is a bit of a harsh beer, but from other beers of this style it is easier to drink then them. Overall I found this a very enjoyable beer, especially having much yuengling, this is a very nice step up.

Poured a nice amber red without very much head. What little there was, was white and very thin. Smells of honey sweet flowers. Taste is malty sweet hardly hopped, very smooth. Slightly bitter at the finish. Drunk from a Chimay chalice, which may have influenced the experience.

A - Nice amber pour. Some rising bubbles, a small off-white, large bubble head with little retention. Some good lacing on the way down.

S - Lightly toasted maltiness.

T - Good malty profile in the front. Smooth and slightly sweet. A bit of hop bitterness underlies and brings a solid finish. A good mix of sweet, bitter, and some earthy notes as well.

MF - Smooth with good carbonation. Light-medium in the body, a pretty easy drinker. Good feel overall.

O - A well-done, tasty amber. Would buy again.

A: The beer is clear copper and amber in color with a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a thin yet dense off white head that has good retention properties and hardly died down at all.
S: There are sweet aromas of caramel, toasted malts and toffee in the nose.
T: The taste is very similar to the smell and has a moderate amount of malty sweetness in the initial taste; there is a slight amount of bitterness and flavors of spices in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied, smooth and somewhat creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite malty and has associated sweetness, but this doesn’t really get in the way of the drinkability.

Pours small off white head with a murky light brown red body.

Smells grainy bready sweet, little hops.

Has nice flavors with a mix of english hops, grains, yeast, bread, some caramel sweetness. Decent bitter finish. Drinkable.

Smooth light medium body.

Overall decent easy drinking amber lager.

A-Pours more amber than red. When held up to the light, there is only an orange hue. A very thin head is unremarkable at best. Laces well, but do I really care about how much lacing any beer leaves?

S-Smell is a bit earthy and caramel malts. Pretty mild and somewhat difficult to describe. Well, I guess that means its time to drink.

T-This beer is very similar to the nose but a bit more attractive. A bunch of sweet caramel malts and a hit of cracker. Sweet is not the best way to describe it, but I struggle to find a better simple description. Would love a little hop balance. But for a lager, not bad.

M-Lighter body. Moderate carbonation. Not much aftertaste or a drying quality.

O/D-Brewed close to home. But this is one of those lower-tier six-pack beers for me. I could spend the same amount of money and get an Ipswich sixer, or even a Finest Kind IPA or some Leatherlips. Just not cutting it.

Amber and somewhat cloudy. A small and disappointing one-finger head but it leaves foam all over thr sides of the glass as you drink it down.

Some slightly sweet malt in the nose, but it's barely detectable.

Medium bodied, malty and spicy. Bready with some brown sugar sweetness, but its quickly balanced out with spicy and slightly bitter hops that lend to a dry and refreshing finish that leaves you craving more. A good session beer.
