Served in a standard pint. Poured a deep, opaque brown with ruby red highlights around the edges. Quarter inch tan-colored head quickly broke down into a lightly effervescent slick that coalesced around the perimeter of the glass. No lacing on this one. Nose is malt, nutmeg and a mild pumpkin character. Taste is just like a cross between pumpkin pie and a winter warmer style beer. Pumpkin pie flavor is not at all over the top. Also picked up a little hops bittering in the middle. Mouthfeel is a little light for a stout with just enough carbonation to keep it lively. Good drinkability. Brew went down easy and flavors were not at all overpowering; however, it came off a little unremarkable.

L - Pitch black body and a finger of off-white head

S - SO much nutmeg and cinnamon. Not getting a lot of pumpkin.

T - Pumpkin is finally here and it leaves a noticeable aftertaste. Again, this beer is balls deep in nutmeg. Subtle cinnamon and a slight roasted malt flavor.

F - Nice and full for 7%. No alcohol.

O - More of a nutmeg stout with pumpkin, but the spices work.

Shot review, initially I wasn't going to but theres a level of uniqueness to this which I think deserves at least a short blurb.

The pour points towards a singularity meaning.... deep in a black hole, no light can escape, dark on top of dark, awesome.

Smell is chocolate malt and a somewhat fruity backend, its robust so it scores well.

Taste.. CHOCOLATE COVERED BANANA'S FOSTER. Maybe some pumpkin spices, but that's what dominates. Not much pumpkin-like from this, but it's delicious, warming, good alcohol and taste.

Interesting beer, I can honestly say I'm a big fan. I don't like all things pumpkin but the sugary chocolate goodness of this makes it a damn drinkable stout.

Fisherman's pumpkin Stout six pack of12 oz. cans purchased in massachusetts Oct. 2016. Chilled stout poured into a glass.

Flavor is that of a fairly straightforward stout. Medium body (for a stout) with good malt and hop balance. Pumpkin character is just perceptible and does not detract from the enjoyment of a beer drinker who is not a fan of fruit/herb beers. Quaffable stout with a somewhat high alcohol content (7%).

12 oz. can

Pours black with a creamy frothy tan foam head. Smells like pumpkin, autumn spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, some chocolate, dark roasted malts, molasses, nutty dark caramel, brown sugar, slight coffee, mild dark fruit, vanilla, with some earthy grassy minty pine. Tastes like pumpkin, sweet autumn spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, some chocolate, dark roasted malts, molasses, nutty dark caramel, brown sugar, slight coffee, mild dark fruit, vanilla, with earthy grassy minty pine. Feels medium bodied, smooth with low carbonation. Overall a really nice pumpkin stout.

Black with an off white/slightly mocha head.

Pumpkin, roasted malts, spices in the aroma.
Very smooth taste, creamy, spice, slight pumpkin on the back end. Its subtle, not overpowering, nor is the spice.

My first flavored stout outside of coffee/chocolate and its really good. Deserving of a higher rating in my opinion.

The taste is even getting better as it warms.
