The mother of all hoppy beers, the Double-IPA is loved by many and feared by more. Going against our mission to make balanced beers, a healthy portion of Cascade and Citra hops were used to create a smoothly bitter double IPA with big and lingering floral aromas.

Great beer. Filtered look, sweet loopy smell, tropical flavor. Would revisit.

16oz can: This one pours a fairly clear orangish-amber color. Small white head and some lacing. Decent enough aroma. Pine, grapefruit, floral notes. A bit of bitterness to the taste, with not much underlying sweetness that comes with a lot of DIPA's. Pine, grapefruit and orange flavors. A solid beer.

It's a solid double IPA, more of a classic East coast/Northeast before it was all New England juicy style...
Some pretty good hop aromas and flavors, some citrus grapefruit, pine resin, floral aromas. A solid malt base gives it a full body, with some caramel sweetness supporting the big bitterness.
Worth trying!

Underwhelming, but my roommate liked it so maybe it's just me.

Fruity pebbles. Alcohol esters. Pretty malty. Pine, resin, grapefruit pith, coconut and alcohol. Super dry and bitter. unbalanced. Not terrible but not really outstanding. If they dialed down the alcohol, this would be much better.

I believe about a month of age and it's super malty...almost no hop bitterness. Not getting any of the floral characteristics. Hopefully just a bad batch, will try again hoping for better.
