Rescue is an inspired blend designed to revive the taste buds. We’ve unleashed more than a pound of leaf and pellet hops per barrel, lending a clean, crisp finish. Rescue IPA is particularly good with spicy food, especially curry and Mexican flavors. Try it with a sweet dessert like creme brulee.

Poured slightly hazy. Deep amber orange with burgundy highlights. Not what I assume a normal IPA would like. This is very dark for an IPA. Looks like a deep amber ale or a red ale. Small but creamy sandy colored head. The aroma is just a tad cloying with floral malts and a slight citrus presence actually it is very nice. Theres a underlying earthy hop mustiness. I like it.
The taste is whoa! Its bitter alright. I was unprepared for the bitter almond cyanide smile I got after the first sip. There is a strong floral presence in the flavor it gives the taster a bitterness that overpowers any kind of malt body. In other words, this has the bitterness of a DIPA, with the maltiness of a pale ale. It seems unbalanced. But hey, it works for me! What else matters? This is an interesting beer.

Medium caramel color with sweet malt aroma and pine on the nose with a little bit of spicy citrus. Starts with sweet caramel malt up front and stays sweet until 70% through where just a touch of citrus pokes through along with a slow building, agressive, piney bite finish. Medium body with course carbonation pricklies. This is old school IPA right here folks, just like the good 'old days!

Very excited to taste upon first look, but was a little disappointed. Highly carbonated and lacked a distinctive hoppy finish. The taste did not stand up to the rich caramel color of this brew.
