Stopped by this place while in Athens for the Classic City Fest. I'd seen/heard good things about tons of taps...

I was disappointed to say the least. They probably had forty or fifty beers (maybe 15 on draught). Most were macros or beers you could find in just about any grocery store. I settled for a Terrapin Rye Pale Ale which was good but I expected something more amazing to jump out at me from the tap section. Oh well...

The food was good. I had the blue cheese hot wings and a salad. Both were enjoyable. The service was great.

Overall, I think I'll go somewhere else next time I'm in Athens.

This is not the best place for beer, but it is a great place for wings. It also has a nice atmosphere, especially the spacious upstairs.

Their selection of beers isn't the best and its also not to cheap. They have your standard cheap college beers (miller, coors, bud, ect) but they have a decent selection of imports.

This is first and foremost a restaurant. The wings here are good, with over 30 flavors of sauces, but the rest of their food is sub par. Any time i go now, i just stick to the wings. They have daily drink specials and rock band is available.

For what they offer, the prices aren't to cheap either. The service is also not always the best. It is a fun place to go, enjoy some wings, drink a few beers, and hang out with friends.

The Wild Wing has a nice selection of taps, but their prices are kind of high, and I have not been impressed with either the food (other than the wings which are good) or the service, which is often pretty bad.

I would recommend the Wild Wing to someone who likes chain restaurants with few surprises. Yes, they have good beer, but their are other nearby places that have the same beers at better prices with better food and service.

If you eat at the Wild Wing, do not stray from the wings. They have an all-you-can-eat wing night too with some beer specials, but the specials are usually for Miller Lite and the like.

Stopped to visit my brother in Athens and heard that a Weezer cover band was playing at Wild Wing cafe. Heard about the number of beers offered so I was sold. Downstairs featured a Wait to be Seated restaurant that seemed a bit more formal. Headed upstairs and saw four tables that had a 3 Liter tubes of light beer as the centerpiece of college coeds. Menu looked pretty typical and our choice of appetizers were good. First beer I saw on the menu was a 11.9% ABV Dogwood and tried to order one. Server told me they went out of business (so change the menu!). Instead, wanted a flight of four 4-ouncers. Each one I ordered, they were out. Instead, ordered a local pint while my brother wasn't even sure what beers on his flight finally ended up coming to him.

Stayed over an hour after the band's noted start time but they never came out. Getting too old to stay out as late as the college students around us.
