Pours a crystal clear straw yellow color. Quite effervescent but the weak white head dissipates almost immediately. Some sudsy foam is left on the beer.

Aroma is uh, blah? Theres a faint whiff of sweet grain, but not much beyond that.

Taste isn't much better than the nose. Grain, sweet lemon drops, a touch of honey, and some faint herbal hops. Its remarkable how unremarkable this flavor profile is. Its not a pilsner, at least a recognizable one - much closer to a Euro pale lager. Quite bland.

Feel is light, quaffable, and refreshing. Moderately carbonated. It wants to be dry, but the sweetness overtakes any dryness on the finish.

Overall this is a horrid pilsner - as a euro pale lager its serviceable, but I'd rather drink almost anything else.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong Euro yeast, hint of sulfur, slight citrus hops, rice, and a hint of pale malt. Barley fits the style of a German Pilsner; closer to a Euro Pale Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level and noticeable dryness. Tastes of strong Euro yeast, hint of sulfur, slight citrus hops, rice, and a hint of pale malt. Overall, good appearance, adjunct hurts both body and aroma, but otherwise average.

Poured from 12oz bottle into Seidel mug.

L: Clear straw yellow, thin white head minimal retention.

S: Grainy malt, herbal hops.

T: Grainy malt, quite bready, herbal hops, not terrible but not too good.

F: Light, crisp, clean.

O: Not bad but not good.

I believe, if I am not mistaken, that this beer came to me courtesy of my local, in-person trader @tone77 & yet I do not see a review from him. Hmm. Would he have given me his only bottle? Or did I procure this elsewhere? The mysteries of The Bottle Backlog at Chez Woody swirl around.

From the bottle: "Extra Quality".

I Pop!ped the cap with no real expectations of quality. As such, I still conducted a slow, gentle pour into the awaiting glass & then performed an in-glass swirl to raise two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, bone-white head with decent retention. Color was Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity, prompting a visit from The Gelt Gang of Mammon, Midas & Croesus. Nose smelled more like a Euro Lager than a German Plisner, kind of sweetish, but lacking in any real character. Mouthfeel was thin & watery. The taste was honey-like, but that was about it. There was nothing to distinguish it from any other cheaply made Lager-style beer. It was really lacking in taste, but at least it did not taste bad. Finish was semi-dry, but so what? This is a beer made for a hot, humid day in the outdoors when anything cold and wet will be refreshing. Otherwise, it is a big nothing. YMMV.

Really nice and light. Crisp and refreshing, could throw a few of these back on a hot day for sure.
