Man I didn't see anything in here. An overglorified gas station. They had the most widely distributed stuff, but absolutely nothing from Nebraska.

If you want what you can get at the grocery store (New Belguim, SN, SA), you'll love this place. I think Boulevard was their most exotic and rare beer they had there. And don't expect any special or limited release bottles from those major breweries. Just their standard stuff. And for some reason, they have something against hops, because everything seemed to be a wheat beer.

Sure, easy access, its right by I-80. But if you bother to get off in Kearney, go check out the brewery, don't bother here unless you've never drank beer before. My brother said it didn't look like anything special, but since it was on BA, I figured we should stop in and check it out. Other than the bathroom break, it was completely worthless to me, I didn't make a single purchase, nor did anyone ask if I wanted any help, after looking exasperated at the lack of selection.

When I lived in Kearney I never visited this place, I don’t know why. Kearney Liquors is part liquor store, part convenient store and part gas station. It is located about a mile off the interstate (I-80). So if you are traveling and pressed for time stop and fill up the car and grab a few bombers from the local microbrewery, Platte Valley.

Inside the store is clean, well organized, and well lit. The employees are friendly.

Kearney Liquors *might* have the best selection in town, but just barely. New Belgium brews are available; for sure Fat Tire and I think the Abbey and Tripel, etc, Boulevard (Unfiltered Wheat, Pale Ale, Bully! Porter), Sam Adams Lager, Ale, and a seasonal. Guinness, Beamish, Odell, Empyrean, and Paulaner to name a few. It seems all the “good beer” is only sold in six-packs (aside from the Platte Valley bombers). Most of the selection is typical B/M/C.

This place is easy to find and handy for travels. It is recommended for people in a hurry. Get gas. Get Platte Valley bombers. Return to I-80. It is that simple.

Note: Blue Laws on Sunday... no liquor purchases. Sucks.
